  1. I upped the budget and looked at some other parts, what do you think of: CPU: Intel Core i5-13500 Cooler: Noctua NH-D12L 60.09 CFM CPU Cooler MB: Asus TUF GAMING B760-PLUS WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL36 Memory GPU: Asus TUF GAMING OC Radeon RX 7800 XT 16 GB Video Card This would set me back CHF 1'100.- but that's okay. PSU should be sufficient altough I read I should get a bigger one.
  2. This looks like a good upgrade, what do you think of the pre built systems by PC Partpicker? I'm looking at the excellent gaming systems from AMD and Intel now.
  3. I've watched a few reviews about the 4060 and heared it's not very good, but I don't think that my 980TI is still sufficient nowadays?
  4. I have a G-Sync monitor and would like to continue to use G-Sync as I'm quite happy with it. 3060s are still plenty available, I'll look into these.
  5. Hi all, I feel like I need to swap out a few, or most, of my currently running hardware. The PC is from about 2013 but I swapped out some parts here and there down the line. Current configuration: CPU: Intel i7-4771 @ 3.5Ghz (4 Core, 8 Threads) CPU Cooler: Corsair AIO 2x120mm radiator (don't know the model) RAM: 2x 8 Gb Kingston HyperX Predator DDR3 @2133MHz Mainboard: Asus Sabertooth Z87 Storage: 1x Samsung SSD 850 Pro 256Gb, 2x SSD 1TB (for games) GPU: RTX980Ti, Asus Strix Monitor: 24 inch 1080p G-Sync AOC 144Hz Case: Phanteks ENTHOO PRO PSU: 650Watt Corsair RM650 80+ Gold OS: Windows 10 Home Fans: several noctua and corsair 120mm fans Budget (including currency): 1000 CHF Country: Switzerland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Battlefield, RDR, GTA, Office applications Other details: no peripherals needed planned purchase date is january 24 for now I'll keep the monitor as a bigger one doesn't fit my workspace and I'm happy with it want to switch to an air cooler for the CPU GPU has to stay Nvidia Desired gaming performance: high-ultra graphics with 120fps + I've been looking at the pre-built systems from my local computer shop and the one selling for CHF 1600 (now on sale for CHF 1400) runs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X (8x 3.4-4.6Ghz) GPU: nVidia Geforce RTX4060, 8GB ASUS DUAL RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz Kingston Fury Beast RGB (4x8GB) SSD: 1TB WD Blue M.2 NVMe Mainboard: Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 PSU: 750Watt be quiet! Pure Rock 2 FX RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz Kingston Fury Beast RGB (2x8GB) Mainboard: Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 SSD: 1TB Samsung 980 M.2 MVMe GPU: RTX4060Ti, 8GB ASUS OC DUAL nVidia Geforce Soundcard: Realtek ALC887-VD2 7.1 PSU: 650Watt be quiet! System Power Bronze OS: Windows 11 Home These builds are from June 2023 so I guess some parts aren't the best choice by now or something better is coming out shorty? I'm very out to date in knowledge on computer hardware. My idea was to keep the case, fans, PSU, SSDs and buy the parts they use for their builds. Let me know if you what you think of these two pre-built builds and which parts you would use from these or take an alternative. Thank you for your help!
  6. I have some movies (.avi) that I'd like to clone to CDs and then watch on our home theater system. The way I did it was by send the data to the DVD. The problem now is that our system can't play back the DVD, it says error reading the disk. How can I get this to work?
  7. works now but I manually installed the latest update
  8. I just installed AOE 3 on Win 10 with the CD. Problem now is it won't start. I can boot it but nothing opens, just a background application. Compability mode neither works. Anything else I can do?
  9. I have a Nt-Usb microphone and I have a problem with the levels... so, I set it to 80 but it always adjusts itself which I don't want it to do because then you can suddenly hear my mom very loud in the living room when I leave the pc for a quick break. How can I disable this?
  10. Hmm I like these developement kind of games so I'll go for EU4 then. Thank you
  11. I didn't have any of the precursors but I'd like to get into one of the franchises but I don't know which one, from watching trailers they seem similar. EU4 has better playerreviews so I can't really decide. It would be nice if you could tell me your thoughts about that
  12. I have the Legendary Edition
  13. I play with a controller so I won't need SkyUI and I don't really see what I need SKSE for but thanks
  14. The 3 isn't ment to be there^^ Yes, I was just looking at the Legendary Edition Patch, I'll take a look at that. My game is unmodded.
  15. I don't know if it's just my Skyrim which is pretty buggy, noisebug, stuff flying around etc. Is there a good mod on Nexus or somewhere else which can fix this stuff?
  16. Well okay then Thank you guys for the quick answers^^ I was wondering why it opened such app when it said that I have a virus...
  17. When I visited a site, I got a popup which said that there are 4 viruses and my phone is damaged to 29% and that it will attack my sim etc when I don't fix this. Then it told me to press on a tab which opened google play store and there it opened a file sharing app because of some reason. I ran 3 different virus scans (Kaspersky, Bitdefender and the one from Smart Manager) and all of those tell me that there isn't anything. Now is this real with those viruses or not? And if, what am I supposed to do? I'm currently in safemode.
  18. It's not about me, I'd say I'm good at english but it's about my mates. I mean they can speak a bit but sometimes^^. As I can see you are from america and that is an 8 hour difference which isn't cool to play together. Well, I don't know from where your mates are though
  19. My friends just got into Arma 3, I played it a while back and am now back at it again. We can play together pretty good and they are learning pretty fast as they are all a bit military and gun heads. So if you are a group that would take 4 rather good players, hit me up
  20. As you probably know you have an option to set up Over Provisioning. Recommended volume is 24GB on my 260GB SSD. When I press to set up Over Provisioning, it creates a partition with the given 24GB. Now, the blue part of the bar is my primary partition including system-reserved and systemrecovery, which I have two of somehow, and then there is the gray part which is the OP partition. There it says "Over Provisioning (not allocated)", is it supposed to be not allocated and can I leave it like that or is there anything else I have to do? And when I'm already asking, should I delete one of those systemrecovery partitions?
