ChestyTech's Achievements

  1. Not the exact one but gets the proves the point that they are no longer exclusive. Thanks!
  2. I can't find the article again but apparently as of late last year/early this year they are no longer exclusive. All the keyboards linked so far have them and only one is a Corsair
  3. okay, well I found this Filco at $169 https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=3900 ,is it really worth the extra $, I am not a keyboard elitist, I just want a quality quiet keyboard to last me years. Also, do you have either?
  4. I currently have the Razer BlackWidow Chroma, I have had it for 4 years now and I love it except for one thing... it's too loud! I need a quieter keyboard so I can game/type papers at night without feeling bad for my roommates or while my girlfriend is over trying to study. My friend has a Corsair Strafe mk2 with the silent red and he loves it, I have played on it and I like the quietness of it. I have searched around and found a few keyboards that I like but I'm not sure which is the best (this is where you guys come in) 1) The Ducky $135 - https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=4283 2) The MK Night Typist $114 - https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=4295 3) Corsair Strafe Mk2 $120 - https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-Strafe-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B07D5TNTPC Does anyone have experience with these and have any feedback on them? Or if there is another option that I am not considering that you would suggest (if so, I prefer a full keyboard with numpad and either plain white backlit or rgb - just not the only blue or only red types)
  5. Thanks, one like the avermedia live gamer extreme (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y3U01RU) should be good, right?
  6. So I am considering starting a stream on twitch and was wondering if using a 2 PC setup would be worth it, for me. My current rig is an i5 3570 and a gtx 970, I also have an extra PC with an i3 2350. Should I use this second PC for a "2 PC setup" or would it be useless and I would be better off with both gaming and streaming off my i5. Thanks

  8. No, I just like to listen to podcasts and such while playing on console. Link to what you were describing?
  9. So basically, I want to be able to recieve audio from my PC and consoles, Xbox One and PS4, through one headset. I dont know much about audio but I think that I need a mixer. If so, which mixer would suffice or if its something else could you recommend that too. Thanks in advance
  10. I would most likely start streaming and doing youtube more consistently with more quality
  11. Bestbuy, any brands I should stray away from?
  12. I have been put in charge of finding a laptop for my 12 yr old sister for Christmas. Laptops are way different from desktops so I figured I would enlist your guys help. Has to be windows 8 with decent storage. She will be browsing the web and doing some school work. And maybe some no so intensive games like Minecraft. Price range is about 300-350 USD. Any suggestions/recommendations are welcome. Personal experiences? Thanks
  13. Alright, here is the updated list http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pxYk8d Now what gpu for 1080p gaming driving 3 monitors but only gaming on 1
  14. $1000 because I already have most of the parts.
  15. Forgot to add that, fixed now. thanks
