  1. Results are in! I got this adapter: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/For-Asus-UX31-UX21-Sandisk-SDSA5JK-ADATA-XM11-SSD-To-2-5-SATA-Adapter-Card/382084890512?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 It works perfectly, apart from the plastic divider being to big, but a bit of work with a pair of pliers and it was no longer a problem. Put it in my PC, formatted it and it worked. As to what PC it was in originally, it was in an Asus Ultrabook. (Asked the guy I got the SSD from, though he did not know the exact model) Thank you all for the help
  2. I'll give it a go and see what happens, thanks for the help
  3. I found this one: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/382084890512?clk_rvr_id=1284507692704&vectorid=229543&lgeo=1&item=382084890512&rmvSB=true It lists the SSD I have as being compatible, but there are a different amount of pins? Do you have any knowledge on this, were the extra pins added for some other models, but still allows for backwards compatibility?
  4. I agree with you there, and you might be right, got the disk off a friend who said it was from a pc where the screen died. But all the adapters out there seem to be 8+18 pin, while this one is 6+12 pin. But I guess there might be one for sale in the depths of ebay.
  5. But this is an 8+18 pin, not 6+12? or does this not matter?
  6. Hello. I have this SSD, se pictures. Looking it up, it comes up with it being an msata SSD. However, when I try to find an adapter they don't seem to have the correct pins, or even the correct screw position. What am I missing? does anyone have any idea of an adapter that might work? Thank you for taking a look

    Help with repair.

Hello. I recently got hold of a creative inspire T3130 2.1 system. However it does not have the "remote control". I am therefor trying to bypass this controller. If there is anyone who has experience with this or thinks they can help, it would be much appreciated. Bottom left of the image (I know it does not tell you much) There is a connector with 5 wires, this is the that goes from the remote to the amp.. (from top to bottom) Black = signal ground. Red = Signal right. White = Signal left. Blue = VO (I don't know what this is) Yellow = ST (I don't know what this is either)
  9. That could explain it as people using the injector have not gotten it to work with win 10. There is a different way to solve the problem: I read this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/FarCry4/comments/3hkby0/helpthe_dual_core_fix_is_not_working_in_windows_10/ It came up with this link: http://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/654-octa-core-faker-singledualtri-core-fix/ It should trick you programs into thinking you have more cores This is all I can suggest, I hope it works.
  10. What version of windows are you running?
  11. It seems the injector is the way to go: It is shown in great detail of how to set it up, and that is does take a few tries to make the game start. Have a look at this video, and make sure you got everything right If this does not work, then I will keep looking.
  12. I'll have a hunt for a solution
  13. Try this: I have not personally had the problem, but this should be a good start.
  14. On my 768p laptop the difference between 1080 and 720 was almost nothing, playing a video in 1080 would work fine, no scaling issue or anything. With the screen being 13,3" I would be surprised if you could see a difference between a video being played in 720 or 1080 (at normal viewing distances). I do not know how youtube works, but it seems to realize you have a 768 screen and if you are playing the video at over 768, so 1080 it will downscale it to fit at 768. I would save the 50$ and get the 768 screen, and spend that money else where.
  15. This will depend on you usage, I have tried both on a 15.4" laptop. While 1920 x 1080 does seem a little sharper, the difference is nothing huge. If you do a lot of reading and typing I would recommend the higher resolution of 1080p, but if you want it as a more all round laptop, the 768p can be an advantage for games, as it has roughly half the pixels, hereby giving you a higher frame rate at the screens native resolution. At the end of day it comes down to what you want to use it for, and how much money you want to spend. A smaller screen size and the visual difference will become less. So for a small low end pc I would save a bit of money and get the 768p screen.
