Hey all, firstly I am unsure if this even belongs here, but I am planning on getting into mechanical keyboard building and was wondering if I could get some help understanding exactly what I am getting myself into as well as if the parts I picked out are even compatible. My main question is if the PCB, plate, case, and keycaps are compatible. Below I have included a list of all the parts that I have picked out with the purchase links. I tried my best before coming here to check to make sure everything was compatible but at some point I got lost in all of the information. I am not dead set on the keycaps but I picked this layout because I enjoy having the dedicated arrow keys, and would like to strive to maintain those as a feature on the board. I am also curious if there are any keycap recommendations that you all have, preferably in a Grey main color, with black and orange accents. Thank you so much! P.S Is the case foam and PCB foam worth it, they are advertised as at the purchase link for the PCB, but I am unsure if these add-ins do anything or are worth it at all. Thanks!!! I was looking into the new skylake stuff I like the i5 6600 sound good? -
I recently received a 980ti for christmas. Here is a link to the amazon page it was purchased from. http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-GV-N98TG1-Gaming-Graphics/dp/B00ZJP9DMC/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1451519658&sr=1-5&keywords=980+ti I attempted to overclock it in MSI Afterburner and even when overclocking by just a few megahertz it would be fine until I ran a game like Crysis 3, Battlefield 4, or 3DMark: Firestrike. It consistently crashed and gave me issues any advice would be appreciated. Before this card I had a Sapphire R9 290 card in my system. I thought at first that maybe I need to uninstall its old driver or something similar to that, but I also have an AMD CPU so I am not sure how to tell the two apart. My specs: AMD FX 8350 MSI 990FXA-GD80 Seasonic X 1050w Corsair h110 Gigabyte 980ti Any help is appreciated thanks!

I am thinking about purchasing a Zotac 980 ti Amp edition and the adapter that comes with the GPU is a dvi to VGA which I don't need or want and my monitor the Benq XL1124Z doesn't have the port I need. So I need a good adapter capable of keeping that 144 refresh rate or something similar to that and also keep my 1ms response time low. As you can tell I don't really know much about this kind of thing but thanks for helping!

I have a 24' Benq XL1124z monitor and I am thinking about purchasing 2 Benq XL2420Z's (the 24' Versions) and want to hook them up to my gigabyte G1 Gaming 980ti (both through displayport 1.2) and wanted to know if this would work and some tips would be greatly appreciated. I would also take recommendations for a decent triple monitor stand/mount for my desk. and maybe some other misc things I may need to know. Thanks!

Hello I need some help with my new Asus Xonar Essence STX sound card! I recently bought it on amazon and was eager to hook it into my computer... then when I hooked it up and attempted to install the drivers I got an error message from the disk driver saying that the driver failed to download. I also tried to download the latest online version but that would not even open or install anything Please help! Also I recently got an ssd and want to switch my main drive to my ssd not a clone but a migration can you please include some software that will migrate my drive it has not been allocated yet and I am hoping to get faster boot times. Also I have enough space on the SSD to switch it over. Anybody have any ideas on the Sound Card???
