    HDD problems

Looks like that worked. Thanks a ton.
  2. I bought an additional drive for my computer so that I can save space on my "boot" ssd. The hard drive is recognized in the device manager section in windows, but I can't access it or find it through windows explorer. After testing it with a different pc, different sata cable and sata power I returned the drive because I thought it was broken. I recently received the new one, but the same issue occurs. I've already tried updating the drivers, which windows says are up to date. In the picture you can see that only my ssd is recognized and not my 500gb hard drive except while in device manager. Any solutions?
  3. I tried putting my graphics card in another system and it worked fine. I also tried the cmos reset switch and nothing happened. My suspicions are that either the cpu is faulty, the motherboard is or maybe the ram; I should be able to RMA it once i find which one it is. Thanks again.
  4. Once I get the chance I will also try this. I think the monitor is an Emachines E211HBMB 22" (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4802822). I tried using plugging it into my TV with hdmi and there wasn't a signal.
  5. Alright, I'd try that now, but it's late and I don't have much time. Thanks!
  6. I thought of trying that before but the motherboard I choose does not have a display port (which I know of), so running off of integrated graphics does not seem viable. Thanks for the suggestion.
  7. Recently I built my own gaming pc. I assembled it and turned it on and the computer appeared to start up, but I hadn't yet plugged it into any monitor to check if it actually booted the bios. This is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/W3pG . I decided to use a graphics card which I already had been using, a sapphire hd 7770 vapor-x(which had been working perfectly when I tried it just days ago). Once I plugged the gpu into my monitor and booted up the pc, there was no signal. I attempted switching the card to a different pci slot, but it still didn't work, I also attempted switching from DVI to HDMI (on a different monitor) and still there was no signal. All the case fans turn on, the motherboard seems to have power, even the gpu fans run. I was wondering if there is any possible solutions I can try before I rebuild the entire thing or try to get my hands on different graphics card to check if that is the source of my troubles. Any help is appreciated.
