why do you go with 3x120mm when you can fit 3x140? 3 low rpm-140's are able to move the same air with less noise (if proper fans chosen), or can move more air at the same noise. so yes; 3x120mm PPC 3000's is possible, though I don't think it is the best option

Thanks for the help, I've got it working now

Hi! I am trying to do some programming, but I am not very experienced, and my googling didn't help. for a control loop I need an integrator, the variable Tint. in my function I have it defined as Tint += T2error (the error I want to add) Though running the script gives the error that Tint is not defined or it is mentioned before assignment when I do a little restructuring. in my __init__ part I created a global called Tint = 0, though it didnt help. any suggestions?

Already tried both those things After long trying and wiggling I dropped down the stock OC settings from the 660Ti with -50MHz on the core and -50 on the memory, seems that one of those was the issue, temps are fine with 70 degrees... just like they were, something with power delivery?
-
I also tried 1080p low, looked like crap, and still crashing with the same error

Chrome, task manager, MSI Afterburner, though there is still more then plenty ram available

Hi everybody, The Bugsplat says when PC2 crashes; Unable to alloc enough memory for pool 'Game' Please ensure that you have enough RAM installed Though I have 16Gigs of DDR3, and the game in use only takes 4.3G at most, with 8 still available. The GTX660Ti handles the game on low settings (1440p on 4k monitor), so 1550MB in use for the Vram, no issue there. WoT runs just fine, CPU overclock is stable 4,3 Ghz Core i5 3570k MSI Z77Mpower 4x4GB Corsair vengeance White AX760 MSI GTX660Ti and some SSDs Logitech G25

h110i cooler wondering if temps are normal

put a fan on the motherboard VRM's for a while; and see if it drops dramatically. It could be a faulty sensor, or extremely hot VRM's due the lack of airflow around the socket -
anybody?

I would certainly wait a little, since the prices of your A8 might drop. All in all it is no doubt that the Ryzen based APU will be significantly faster. Do you already have a motherboard? since the current ones probably do require a BIOS update before being able to use the Raven Ridge APU's. Waiting to see what the prices are seem like a decent plan.

As my dropbox account has reached its limits I am looking for another solution, one that does not involve a 100$ fee a year for some storage. I want to have access to my files both in home, aswell as when I'm not. Speed is not very important, since internet speeds (especially upload) will likely be the bottleneck (looking into this aswell) A custom build has drawn my attention; since it is more versatile and can be upgraded along the way. the server is just gonna hold personal fotos and videos, and might be expanded with movies in the future. DLNA or Plex/Kodi would be nice, but is not a requirement at the moment. the disks are quite locked I think; the WD REDs don't give me much advantage over the BLUEs, whilst the latter are some 20-25€ cheaper. I'll take 2*4TB for a RAID 1 setup. after looking into OS's I think I'd like FreeNas or Xpenology, which are capable of software raid. In this way I take up 2 Sataports, with room for expanding, whilst protecting my data for disk failure. The real issue is I think the memory, since ECC is strongly Recommended with FreeNas, and I think for Xpenology aswell. At first I thought I'd go with a Pentium J4105/J3455 setup, with a 1151 Pentium setup as a strong contender due to upgradability. Now however I found out about the ECC recommendations, and I think it is crucial for a RAID setup to have it, am I correct? I know the C232 chipset from Intel has ECC support, but the prices and availability are a little annoying; over 110€ here vs. a cheap 50-60€ H110 motherboard, and the ram is even more expensive. On the other hand there is Ryzen; a dedicated videooutput is not neccesary; so I can do without a GPU with a Ryzen 3 1200 or so; and the ASrock AB350M Pro4 states it supports ECC RAM. Several Gigabyte boards also list the compatibility with ECC kits; though they explicitely state that it won't work in ECC mode. Any info on the Asrock boards? since I can't file a technical question to them directly without a serial number

I tried, but the Logitech Profiler restarts whenever the game is in progress, and the crashes still occur. I will delete the profiler and try it without. (btw; very unplayable with keyboard)

Yes I use a wheel, and the latest drivers available from the Logitech website for the G25 have been used.

LC Power, I would stay away from them, mainly cheap PSU's with low quality. No problem with taking a 550W though, the Focus 550 from Seasonic is right under 80 USD at newegg, also you might want to have a look at Corsair's TX- lineup

Hi everybody! I have issues with Project Cars, that I haven't been able to solve on my own. Every now and then (5-20 minutes) I get something like the error as pictured in the attachment. The other game I play does not have the same issue and is playable for several hours straight (WoT) setup: 3570k @ stable 4,3Ghz Z77Mpower Asus Fury Strix (non-OCed) Logitech G25/G510/G500 Windows 10 what have I done so far? update drivers of graphics card and reinstalled the game.
