  1. Thanks for the tips, 128 being bogus makes a lot of sense. I've just booted up and check temps right away and its already 128. As for checking the drivers and navigating BIOS i really wouldn't know how. That's not to say I'm computer illiterate, I've just never been taught or shown, and never needed to to need to ask. Could one of you please give me a hand with that too? Appreciatively, Luke.
  2. Too hot. Hi all, I'm new to the forum, and also new to custom built computers/PC gaming. I've come from a console, so this is all new to me. I'm having an issues with my computer. It all started about a week after i got it, i'd have random freezes during gameplay. sometimes it would be within the first 5 minutes of gaming, some would take a few hours before it would freeze. I'd get no warning in the way of lacking performance when it was about to freeze, it just would. so i decided to take the side of my case off, and its since stopped. Now I've just downloaded a program called CPUID HWMonitor to check temps of my parts. and i noticed this temp called TMPIN2 @ 128*c/262*F. Which is where i believe my heat issue is coming from. As i said, i'm new to this custom PC world, and didn't build this myself. I had a friend build it for me (but i'm questioning his ability) so i'm not sure what this TMPIN2 is or how i can find out. and i'm hoping i can get some guidance from someone here who knows a bit more than i do. I'm running a; Asus crosshair v formula z mobo AMD FX-9590 8 core processor Asus Radeon r9 290x OC graphics card 2x 16gb kingston hyperfury X memory sticks Corsair H110 hydro CPU cooler Thermaltake 1275w toughpower PSU If you need anymore info please let me know. i'd like to get this solved ASAP as so not to melt me new PC Cheers, Luke.
