  1. Budget (including currency): $900 CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Tarkov, Arma, Warzone Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Looking for a decent budget build that could hit 60 FPS on 1080p for the games listed above. I only need the build. The monitor, peripherals, and OS are not included in this budget. I tried to get my way around the pricepoint but I'm having difficulty looking for a compromised build that can fit in a GPU at the current market price.
  2. Hello, so I'm experiencing an issue, my fans are connected together via, Thermaltake Commander FP controller. Using Inwin Sirius Loop Fans, I have it hooked and the fan controller plugged into my CHA_FAN header. The issue i'm experiencing is that it isn't being recognized in BIOS, resulting in me unable to change the fan speed. Currently they are running fine but it isn't increasing the speed curve based on temperatures. On fully loaded my PC is currently at 65 C right now and I checked the controller but it's plugged completely fine. Is there a fix for this? Parts: Asus H470I motherboard Inwin Sirius Loop fans Thermaltake Commander FP
  3. Hi, I'm here to ask if anyone could possibly give me some advice on how to set up my fans inside my case between intake and exhaust. I have a total of 9 fans; 240mm front which will be my AIO cooling doing intake, as for my bottom and top of the case are both 360mm, with bottom having about 10cm between the gpu, should I do the bottom intake and top exhaust? and I have 120mm back of the case which will be exhaust. Would this work or how should I do it? 4. Yeah I know, though I'm trying to use an AIO cooler just because I want to make the build more slick rather than using a air cooler
  5. Budget (including currency): $700 Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello, I am here today to inquire about some recommendation to finish this build, basically what I am looking for is case fans to add to the build, I've been looking for RGB fans but unsure which to choose from I was hoping to get some recommendations. Along with a fan hub/fan splitter in order to accommodate 9x 120mm fans, since I plan on adding the full amount of fans in the build. So altogether, the only parts I have left to buy is the CPU cooler, the case, 9x 120mm fans and one more M.2 Storage. Could anyone help? If it goes slight above budget it'll be fine. 6. Would you be able to recommend any other types of ITX cases? I am waiting but if it doesn't have stock till November, I'm more than likely going to just buy the current Zen 2 or Intel
  7. Budget (including currency): Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Any new upcoming mmo and will be using the Samsung CRG9 monitor. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So under I'll post the pcpartpicker of all the product I've purchased, and right now I'm contemplating on what I should get to finish off the build. I'm currently waiting for the Zen 3 but if it doesn't have stock till November then I will just buy one of the current cpus. I pre ordered the Cooler master NR200P but it's been several weeks and there's no update on when it's going to be in stock and delivered, so would anyone have anything to recommend? 8. Budget (including currency): $2500.00 CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Current games are just League of Legends, Phantasy Star Online 2 and misc steam games. Generally planning to any new upcoming Mmorpgs or Console games like Tales of Arise when it comes out. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Right now, I'm currently awaiting on the release of Nvidia GTX 3080/3090. The issue I'm having is putting together a build that can run the Samsung CRG9. The monitor I have already purchased and won't be in the build cost. This is what I had in mind, what would you guys recommend or perhaps suggest would be more ideal to use? I'm unsure if the cost to obtain the 10600k would be better than the 9600k. Any recommendations would be great. https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/samsung-49-1440p-wqhd-120hz-4ms-gtg-curved-va-led-freesync-gaming-monitor-lc49rg90ssnxza/13607591?cmp=knc-s-71700000055264709&gclid=CjwKCAjwsan5BRAOEiwALzomX2mBprhsVG5h4LyaCcairT97zCtN-9-ymkPHxNGI65DDCtVbE9sZ-hoC1N0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Note: The OS and Monitor aren't placed in the overall budget. I can go over if the difference isn't too large. I'm setting the price of the 3080 at $1'100 for the time being since the price hasn't been announced yet. Thank you for your time and have a good day ! https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/NT3sdm
  9. Yeah, so I got the Nad HP 50 today, ngl, loving it. Just need to buy a v-moda boom pro with this and it'll be perfect, tyty
  10. Okay thank you for your input. Also to ask you or anyone reading this, would anyone here happen to have any experience with RGB fans? Which would aren't too loud and have a good software to them ?
  11. and for PSU wise, would 550 be enough for this kind of rig, or would getting 650 be better ?
  12. Oh, I haven't been keeping up with all the newer parts, and not many people I know used AMD, so haven't looked into it as of late but that's good to know though, and are you referring to the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 ?
  13. Games wise, your typical f2p games like League/BnS/Archeage/PoE occasional steam games like Nier: Automata/Code Vein and the like. School work, is just microsoft words/excel and so on. I see, thank you I see, could you elaborate to why AMD over Intel? Also how come you wouldn't get MSI motherboard?
  14. 1. Budget & Location Canada; $1500~ CAD excluding the monitor cost 2. Aim General usage would be along the lines of schoolwork and gaming on a 3440x1440 monitor 3. Monitors 1, for the time being. I'm thinking of getting the MSI Optix MAG341CQ 3440x1440 monitor 4. Peripherals Leaving those asides on a different budget, and OS will be receiving elsewhere. 5. Why are you upgrading? I'm currently using a macbook pro 2017, don't have a desktop. This is what I was thinking at the moment, still waiting till thursday night for the sales to be listed and re-configuring it based on what's on sale. However I'd like recommendation on parts that would work/be more ideal to get instead. If it's possible to keep the RGB parts in the selection as well. 15. Thank you, I'll take a look at them If it has a good seal it's fine but yes, it's generally just the amount of sounds around myself it's hard to ignore even while playing something loud, however I can't blast music with my current headset since it leaks noise too much. Thank you, i'll take a look Thank you, I'll look at them ANC or passive, but thank you, I'll look at them !
