  1. I definitely agrre with you SuperPug In real world scenario my PC will never even touch the 100% load, except that fucking Chrome, but that's like for a second or two. Like I said above, my PC needs to run quiet and cool-running and not crash during my simpleton's daily usage, because you know it is not like the early 2000's when my light bulbs would start dimming when I run my OC-ed PC.
  2. Hello to everybody, On 5820k I am having a stable overclock, I think, of 4.4GHz on 1.25V. I am not a developer or something, and it is not super important for me to run my PC for ages without crashing. I mean a crash will never ruin my life so that's OK for me. So how much is enough to stress my system for my simple daily uses? The only thing I am aiming for is to get that good OC middle ground while keeping my system on low voltages and low temps as much as I can. Thank you very much.
  3. I think I tried that under advanced CPU configuration, but that did't really seems to correctly return the default temps, I really wonder whats the idea behind the design of this, why would the CPU increase the tj-maxx in OC environment?
  4. Hello dear folks, as the titles says would anybody know why this is happening and how can I return tj-max values to default as this is preventing me from correctly seeing my temperature reporting on any various monitoring programs. The 5820k is riding a x99 deluxe MOBO. Thanks for all input you kind people
  5. Hello to everybody, I have this Skydrive folder in my user folder, Skydrive shouldn't exist anymore but I still have it as a folder in Windows 8.1 and even it replaces my original Onedrive folder with the blue cloud logo, meaning Onedrive sub-folders are being contained in this Skydrive folder. Does someone know why would this happen and how I can fix this. Many thanks
  6. Hi guys and girls I am overclocking 5820K (core= 4.2GHZ 1.153125V cache= 4.0GHz 1.115625V) quite successfully with NH-D15, temps are super low and processor is super stable, at least 12h-100% stability with AIDA64, the thing never caps out beyond 65 degrees. I just have these inconsistent spikes and drops (PCH and VRM) that I like to know if they mean anything at all. All comments meant to help will be appreciated!
  7. I have to let you know guys that I am really unresponsive to you because I have been using pmw-fans since z77 and onwards with Asus motherboards (Fanxpert) and I have always been able to switch them off until now, because obviously this is not a designed feature to be unable to switch off temporarily to my liking pmw-fans. Also don't get offended but switching off fans its not exactly science fiction or rocket science so this is why I can't accept your advice even though if they are with good intentions.
  8. So you guys are saying that ASUS x99 DELUXE board which is the very TOP of the x99 class motherboards, is unable to switch off, mind you PMW fans, through the specially developed software for fan control which they praise so much, a board that costs 400 EUROS and I have to get separate hardware with physical on/off switches? Is that what you are saying Miku and other guys? I am in the wrong? I have to let you know guys that I am really unresponsive to you because I have been using pmw-fans since z77 and onwards with Asus motherboards (Fanxpert) and I have always been able to switch them off until now, because obviously this is not a designed feature to be unable to switch off temporarily to my liking pmw-fans. 9. Normally Asus Fanxpert switches off the fans if they go below controllable power-range, its like an OFF SWITCH. (except CPU fan of course) Do you get it?
  10. PMW-fan doesn't stop from spinning even below controllable power-range which is like 20%. This is as plain as I can say it. If you know why this is happening you are welcome to say something Miko, if not please don't say anything.
  11. Hey also I wanna be able to stop the fan from spinning, nowhere I have said that I wanna run fan like 2% power OMG.
  12. OK calm down dude, you are literally not helping, although you say you are. I am trying to figure out something and if you are not willing to help I don't care what you know, if you have nothing to say keep it to yourself.
  13. Yeah exactly, let me educate you, what it says it means that at 0% this fan is still spinning which is not true at all, because this pmw fan is totally controllable. Don't troll please.
  14. I did't get what you are saying? I definitely replugged these fans like countless times. After tuning 120mm pmw fans don't have off-margin, meaning they don't stop spinning at all, they do go to their lowest spinning limits but it is as if the motherboard just can't stop the voltage in order for the fans to stop from spinning. Most likely its a small thing that needs tweaking but I have no idea what that is.
