Buzzing noise in right ear while playing games
Plaster422 replied to Plaster422's topic in Troubleshooting
Oh damn. Before this i was running my headset through a Dolby digital USB adapter, which suddenly stopped working one day. I just tried putting my mouse and webcam into that same USB port and, they did not work... + i get the buzzing sound from just using the audio jack from the motherboard. I also just tried putting my DD USB adabter into another USB port and now i works fine. It might look like at part of my motherboard is failling? -

Buzzing noise in right ear while playing games
Plaster422 replied to Plaster422's topic in Troubleshooting
Yea, i mean the sound is obviously comming from my headset... The wired thing is that it only happens when i play games. -
This problem started yesterday when me and my friend was going to play some DayZ Standalone. I was having this annoying buzzing noise in my right ear, i thought i might had been dayz's sounds bugging... But it keept being there also after restarting the game. Now i have have found out the it only happens while playing games, as i played Planetside 2 tpday and the same thing happend... If i minimize the game, it stops, but at soon i go back in the game, it immediately start again, and it´s kinda driving me crazy and ruining the games. Any guess what might be wrong?

So im considering to get the 1070 FTW, as it's actually small enough for my case... fits my color theme and good specs. But im a bit concerned about the recent heat problems. If i buy the card now, will the heat problem then be fixed on that card, or are they still working on the problem, so i´ll have to get a thermal pad kit? In case it's fixed, have the temps become more reasonable or should i look for another card?

Haha sorry... Budget: 220$ OEM preferences: nope Color scheme: Blue, white, black. (I have the Corsair AF120 fans with the bue ring, blue 2x HyperX Fury, and a black case. So any of the 3 colors i mentioned. -
So im doing a new build (My first intel build) And have decided to go with the i5 6600K. So now have to find the motherboard... I have been looking around searching and watched some youtube reviews, and through that i might as well also ask here. What motherboard would you guys suggest, if i also would like to overclock at some point?

Will a socket 775 stock cooler fit a 1151?
Plaster422 replied to Plaster422's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
That will work just for today, then we'll oder a cooler for tomorrow. He only lives like 15 mins away from the store. -
My friend just got his new cpu but forgot that it does not come with a cooler, he only has his old water cooler which is for AMD. I happen to have an old intel stock cooler for socket 775. Will that fit on his 1151? His mobo is a Asus z170-p. I could not find any information about it, so i thought some of you guys might know (He will only need it for a week until he gets something that fits.)

I love the give aways! My favourite is the EDG750 because i want to upgrade my rig and to do that i need a new psu my current psu is on 600W so if i get the EDG750 it would be great because then i get new options to things i can upgrade on my rig!

Thank you. I did not think of that.
