  1. Oh, that's useful. Thanks. That will definitely make fixing this a lot easier. Okay, I guess I'll check what's wrong before anything else then.
  2. I have the laptop mentioned in the title, and the charging port appears to be loose, as my laptop chargers will not stay in when plugged in unless the laptop remains perfectly still, while normally they would attach and remain in until pulled out. In fact, the laptop chargers with shorter plugs do not even make a connection with the laptop because they cannot reach far in enough now, and cannot charge it at all. From what I have seen searching on google, this means the DC Jack is damaged, and must be replaced by soldering on a new one. However, I can't figure out what would be a suitable replacement, or where to find one. Can anyone give me a link to order one from?
  3. Ok, well if you think I still should, I guess I'll try it. I'll report back news to everyone of how it went later!
  4. Ok, I just checked, I ordered it from Newegg, and it says "ineligible for return", so... it appears I cannot do that.
  5. So then I should try to get them to replace it if it's under warranty?
  6. So I have had this tablet for over a year now, and nothing ever seemed wrong. This morning, I had charged it, it was at 100%, everything was fine. So about 4 hours later, I go to turn it on, and nothing happens. I tried holding down the power button, nothing. It won't boot up, and it won't even give the "out of battery" symbol that would have occurred if it suddenly drained for no reason. The only thing it does is have the little "charging" LED light up while it is plugged in, but I'm not even sure if that counts as alive. It appears to be totally and completely bricked. What could have happened, and can I fix it? If so, how?
  7. I just downloaded it. It seems to be working perfectly! Thanks!
  8. Does anyone know of a free piece of software that will let you cycle through displaying all the pictures in a folder? It needs to let you pick the speed. I'm using windows. Thanks!
  9. Ok, I have one more question. What is that circle shaped port on the back of my motherboard?
  10. If I do re-install it, how do I know it won't happen again?
  11. I have the ASUS Z97 Pro.
  12. I am currently dual-booting Windows 10 and Windows Vista, and it was working, but Windows Vista has recently stopped allowing me to use my USB devices. I can use my keyboard and mouse in the BIOS, and I can use them to select an OS to boot, but when I choose Vista, they just shut off. I have tried every USB port on my computer, so it's not that. I found a circle-shaped port on my motherboard that I thought I could use an old keyboard for, but I don't have any keyboards old enough to use it. Does anyone know what I can do to get them to work? By the way, this topic was not created for people trying to convince me that Vista is a waste of time, so please keep on topic.
  13. OK, I think I'll go with that Ultimate edition. Thanks dark_xzyph3r! I'm going to mark the thread solved now.
  14. That's annoying. Just a few months too late.
