  1. Its now crashing with normal temps, they dont even spike up. Just started to check in Event Viewer... didnt think to do that.. Event1, WHEA-Logger: A fatal hardware error has occurred. A record describing the condition is contained in the data section of this event. Event ID: 1001 BugCheck: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000101 (0x0000000000000008, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff80277ea7180, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000. Minidumps saying ntoskrnl.exe + 3fd640 Memory Dumps and Whea Dumps
  2. So little update, I reseated my cpu cooler and used Intel XTU, I ran the stress test for 5 mintues says my cpu is thermal throttling. I think maybe the cooler wasn't good enough and over time it just fried my cpu, I just bought a new cpu cooler the Noctua NH-U12A hoping that will help. I really hope its not a dead cpu...
  3. So right now, I know for sure its not Windows, or Drivers. So I did a CMOS reset, waited for 30 mintues. I can boot into windows run passmark test (Extended Instructions (SSE)) thats usually where my computer gets Clock Watchdog Timeout / BSOD. I was moderning the temperatures using CoreTemp. And to my surprise everything worked fine... for now. Image: BIOS Default Auto Settings Image: CoreTemp Temperatures If I go into bios change DRAM Freq to 4800MHz I see the Core Voltage = 1.421 and MC voltage 1.314 has changed automatically and when I load into windows again, run the passmark test (Extended Instructions (SSE)) with CoreTemp I get Clock Watchdog Timeout / BSOD. So it makes me think its has to do with voltage or temperatures. Here are the temps Image: CoreTemp Temperatures Crash
  4. Basically my computer was running fine for awhile and now I get Clock Watchdog Timeout / BSOD errors more and more fequently. From playing games my computer would close the game almost like ALT-F4 and go directly to desktop. Or more intense games it would lock up the computer and then crash to Clock Watchdog Timeout / BSOD, where it trys to run the percentage but stops at 43% then I have to force a restart. It got so bad to the point when downloading games on Steam could cause a crash. I have reinstalled Windows 10 Version 22H2, reinstalled latest drivers, did a Chkdsk on CDRIVE /Windows, run a memtest86 which all ram sticks have passed, Running anything like prime95, passmark, 3dmark, cinebench, will run for a few seconds then I get a Clock Watchdog Timeout Here are my specs: Power Supply: Corsair RMx 1000W Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z690-E GAMING WIFI ATX LGA1700 Ram: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR5-6200 CL36 Memory Graphics Card: EVGA - GeForce RTX 3090 Ti 24GB FTW 3 Cpu: Intel Core i9-12900KS 3.4 GHz 16-Core Processor Cpu Cooler: Noctua NH-U9S 46.4 CFM Everything on my motherboard is at Auto, I never changed anything to OC GPU or CPU, I have updated to the latest bios and now I have removed the CMOS battery and running the test again but still crashes.. XMP is disabled aswell. Bios Version: 2.21.1278 Does anyone have any ideas?
  5. Those are there to remember the old parts that were inside at one point of time

  7. I had to ask them again but all vram spots are 1mm thick but that being said I still dont know what brand to get. So I guess I am best off to leave them be since they are not damaged or peeling off as I can tell.
  8. Its the 2 fans version one model number is 11221-02-40G for reference. But long story short I basically had this card for awhile right now from 2013, no problems until 3 days ago one of the fans had issue spinning and it was hitting the sides of the cooler. Basically the fan was not flush with the motor and was spinning way to fast when the graphics card was on load. The fan that died was the one that connect to the lights so I had to sacrifice it. I just ordered 2 new fans from china, but dang the slow shipping... if I only knew if there was a good aftermarket cooler for that card I would of bought it in a heartbeat. That being said after taking all the fans out, heat-sink and cleaning the card from dust and thermal paste. I notice the thermal pads. Do these need to be replace to? or could I just keep them since memory heat doesn't produce that much heat so old would work just fine? Even if I need to replace them I had a hard time to finding the correct thickness until I emailed support and said 1mm will be fine. I am going to use Arctic Silver 5 for my GPU heat-sink. I just don't know what brand of thermal pad is the best or decent for Graphic Cards cause I never experienced this issue before. TLTR: I took my fans and heat-sink off. should I replace the thermal pads if so what brand so I go for I am looking for 1mm in thickness. Thinking about these http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAA0D4C42069&cm_re=thermal_pad-_-9SIAA0D4C42069-_-Product https://www.amazon.ca/SODIAL-400mm-Silicone-Thermal-Heatsink/dp/B00H3CUD64/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1471907778&sr=8-4&keywords=1mm+thermal+pad
  9. yes this happened to me before, so annyoing once it ges tangled up it starts to rip the braided cord. Reason it happens is cause you put down your headset down different ways causing the wire to twist. Just unplug the headset and find a place you can hang the headset so it will untwist itsself. If you live in 2 story house just hang it down the stairs until it untwist itself.
  10. He had to quadruple qoute it. Anyways I found a short fix was to launch the game in window-mode then change it to full screen it seemed to work. For now.
  11. Vapor-X R9 280X 3G GDD5 PCI-E DVI-I DVI-D HDMI DP OC Version UEFI P/N: 299-5E210-004SA I tried playing Arma 2, Arma 2 dayz mod and Arma 3. I didnt get this issue.
  12. Specs: Power Supply: Antec Truepower Quattro 1000W Motherboard: Asus P7P55D-E PRO Socket 1156 Ram: Kingston HyperX 16GB Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 280X Cpu: Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93GHz Video #1: From 2014 - Once I updated the driver this stop happening. Video #2: From 2015 - Driver is up to date I can play games like CSGO, GW2, The Crew, Crysis 2, BF4, BF3, Rust. When it comes to a game like DayZ my monitor does that crazy stuff. Like a bad input or something. Any help?
  13. question does the beeping come from the motherboard?
  14. I removed everything only had the cpu and still no POST beeps, I think I need a new Motherboard.
  15. Thing is monitor gets no signal even if I do that. Still no beeps either.
