  1. I still doon't understand the powerbar keyy. how do they attach to the power bar? I'm not aware of power bars having the screw whole. Could you share a picture?
  2. Ok, I was too nit-picky. I went full I'm-gonna-prove-them-wrong after seeing the similar pictures and reading they're different blends. I didn't even read to the end where they explicitly state that these pictures are a digital reference. To be fair though, I would expect them got get samples of everything after the dual bottom-we didn't check the features misshap. And It's still different blends. Don't they have sample picture of each blend? Edit: I'm too dumb to space out the quote after posting Answer to quote 1: That's kind of the point I was trying to make. They're selling Mockups of things that do not exist in comparison to the old times where they took a picture of every color.
  3. I'm one of those old guys, following LTT basically since the beginning and I remember a lot of statements that set LTT apart from "normal" companies that didn't went the extra mile and now they're starting to take shortcuts, too. In a WAN Show long time ago, Linus was proud to say the store takes individual pictures for every color and mocked the afford spared by other companies to photoshop the colors. In this example he was talking about the different colored LAN yards and how they even tried to get the same position for every shot. Today I was looking at the April Fools shirt and couldn't help but notice the exact same wrinkles in the black and white shirts. I put it into photoshop and they're the same. I played with curves and pretty much matched the shirts "perfectly." Here's an animation of the shirts. (open spoiler, epilepsy warning) I know it's a presale, but it's different fabric blends and small things like these make me cautious to take everything I know about them for granted.
  4. The first order was 40k split into 4 10k shipments. They had to reorder so I expect them to have sold about 45-50k
  5. I'd be interested in the number of refunds for the backpack. I can't imagine that many to refund it.
  6. I'd be curious if the technical/logistical problems have something to do with their cash flow issues. Linus was mentioning this way too often the last year/months in WAN Shows and I've gotten a little prejudiced after all the Backpack problems and some of Linuses statements. I'm happy though, that Customer King Adam solved your issue He's the Bozz
  7. The logitech lighting wireless stuff was a gamechanger for me. Always disliked the cable dragging on the mouse and stuttering connection. I've got my G900 since April 2017 and I'm still daily driving it. Even the battery feels the same but that might be because of my carreer change and way less time spent gaming
  8. If I remember correctly they tried to optimized the time but it was easiest for them to print them in bulk. I ordered twice with a day apart and both labels were created December 27th and the first order was shipped on Jan 3rd, the other on Jan 4th. That's still a weird customer experience but far better than the multiple weeks for the backpack
  9. I'm sorry for being a pedantic little sh*t in this thread but sometimes Linus rubs me the wrong way. His reason for the backpack emails taking long is that they gotta send 10s of thousand of emails and it just takes time to send this amount of mails. Meanwhile they're sending out a newsletter for the store no problemo. Please explain how a newsletter for a product, that's not gonna be released for months is more important to send out than the backpack coupon?
  10. It is, though. To know they removed that feature you have to explicitly look for that picture on the store or randomly read the faq, or forum posts. I guess a lot of people dont know they simply erased that feature of from existence.
  11. It was not my intention to attack any individual. To be fair, i don‘t know how hard it is to develop a product. Best I did is create some useful 3D file and print it but I didn’t sell that product, so nobody was affected by the mediocrity of my work. I just feel a bit helpless. Even though I‘m a working adult and earn about average for Germany, ~350€ for a Backpack is a lot of money and after all that talk of Linus to trust him, i did exactly that. And they quietly took away a feature that was not the most important one but clearly influenced my decision. (I know they talked about removing that feature for future sells, I didnt know they retroactively removed it for everyone.) Its the best backpack i ever owned and probably will ever own and I dont want to return it. It‘s perfect for my job as an IT technician carrying a laptop, tablet, the Switch for overnight jobs and a lot of cables and of cause the world class LTT screwdrivers. But all this leaves a bitter taste in my moth. edit after reading your comment again. maybe the test units with 2 bottom layer had the strength to stand up right and thats why they didn’t catch it?
  12. Thank you for the clarification on the carabiner shipping date. That’s a lot better about the standing thing, you (as is lmg) sold it to me as standing up right. How is it unrealistic for me to assume the backpack is standing up right it‘s entire life and not just a month. There are backpacks that do that. i put back the original plastic bag till last month when i was not using the pack to keep it healthy as long as possible. I did not know you didn‘t follow the trust me guarantee on that feature. If my backpack loses all its strengths in the future its on me and the only chance is to return it now?
  13. It's 40k. That doesn't really matter because we don't know how many will take the refund, but I would guess it's higher than 1%. Remember the broken zippers and some are still mad their backpack is not standing up right. I thought Linus mentioned this last week on WAN show. I expect them to appear in the LTTstore as a 33% off item. 149$ if we're lucky. I'm also curious to see how they handle broken carabiners on the resell items.
  14. Will Backpacks be replaced for people who bought it before the feature was removed? I was careful to always put my backpack against a wall/leg of a table to keep it pretty up right but it's starting to lean over and it was an advertised feature when I bought it. It's kind of like we trusted LMG after all that talk... to trust LMG... And the zipper delay is not your fault but ridiculous. The backpack is out over a year, first broken carabineers came to light pretty fast and LMG is hoping to send out the first replacements by April? (I don't remember if they mentioned it in the WAN show or if I read it somewhere. Correct me if I'm wrong.)
