  1. Thanks a lot bro this helpt me a lot.that is just what i was thinking cuz hyper threading is more and more used so it may give me some extra power in future
  2. I think iwill get i7 since it is cheaper and i have more "cores" for anything in future.I don't care for 2-5% performance boost but i care for 100$+ more for that few percent.ps can someone post i5 4690k oc-ed around 4.4-4.5 and i7 4790? That would help me a lot
  3. Well i would oc a just a lil bit bit gaming is kinda all i do for now but who knows maybe i will stream/edit etc soo
  4. Yeah but i7 stock speed is a bit better than i5 and i will not oc i5 at least few mouths and if i would i would oc max 4.3-4.4ghz
  5. I want blue mobo, and why is locked i7 bad????
  6. I am just more confused now lol
  7. Ok guys so...i am upgrading my pc for day or two,and i just need your opinion.i have 2 combinations: i7 4790 ASrock h97 pro 4 Corsair Spec 03 (554$) I5 4690k ASrock z97 extreme 4 Corsair spec 03 (576 $) So as you can see i7 will be cheaper but i need as good performance for gaming as posible.ofc i took better mobo for i5 since i would overclock but i wouldn't oc i7.So what do u thing what is better,oc-ed i5 or locked i7 for gaming. And i will save some pennys.thx and sorry for my poor eng
  8. Yes that's sad,if i knew more about pc's back in 2012 when i was build this one i would take phenom 2 x6 wich would be a little bit better now maybe hah
  9. Thanks a lot man,i think i am going with that (looks like "buying new gpu" for better fps for year or two is not as i expected lol) but thanks a lot for the help
  10. Actually i am thinking now to wait few month and get 4690k and cheap mobo since as i can see,you all are recommending this, beacuse i need good performance for at least 3 years or so and i need something good and fast
  11. 198$ i was thinking about selling the ram but i am lazy Well mobo support x6 but i still have pci 2 (280x is pci3) sata 2 and i was thinking to upgrade hdd to sata 3 later, thats why i need new mobo as well
  12. 4590 is 220 so it is a little bot btter, but what is wrong with 8350?
  13. Well i live in croatia and that cpu is 280$ here so thats the problem.and yeah is it a problem if i have 2x2 and 1x4gb ram (1x4 have a lil bit faster freq) Idk,both?cpu only
