  1. So pretty much its because my PC's getting too hot?
  2. I've only noticed it happening within the last week or so
  3. Its a fx 6300 cpu with stock cooler, 750ti, 8gb ddr3 ram. Its all nearly a year old. I updated to windows 10 around January. It does get quite dusty but I check it often, last time I checked the cpu cooler wasn't that dusty.
  4. Hi, Just recently I have been gaming, working or just browsing the internet on my computer and all of a sudden it just shuts down, and not like windows shuts down, like the whole thing cuts off, not even any blue screen. I thought it could be the power supply (its not the best) but I haven't had any noticeable problems with it previously. I also thought I might be something to do with the PC overheating because when it happens core temp tells me the temperature is around 80 degrees Celsius (sometimes higher, I'm not even sure why it gets this hot), but surely the PC would just thermal throttle or something, I just don't know. Would be thankful for any help.

  7. So is there actually anything wrong or is the stock cooler just so bad??

  9. Even if the AMD recommended temp is 65 degrees???
  10. My AMD FX 6300 CPU is running at idle at about 30 - 40 degrees Celsius but when I'm running any game it goes up to about 70 - 85 degrees. I know that the recommended temp from AMD is 65 degrees so this isn't ok, is it? If it isn't ok why is it like this and what can I do about it. I am using the stock AMD cooler and my PC is built in an old acer aspire case from a old 2008 just bought form a shop build PC, I can feel the metal case get hot when playing a game especially near where the power supply is. Thanks for replies in advance!
