Thanks a lot for the help but I looks like after the system tried to repair automatically, it won't even recognize my ssd. I went in control panel and it doesn't even show in disk drive. Is my ssd pooched?

Sorry for the repost but i think this topic fits this category best. After my friend closed my computer by pressing the button for 5 seconds, my computer is stuck on the spinning circles, I tried automatic repair, and I don't have a windows recovery CD (I downloaded it with upgrade manager) the only back up I have is a clone copy on my other hard drive. Anyway to repaired that without formatting and re-downloading it completely? Thanks in advance!

Can a mod change this to troubleshooting or something I don't know if its in the right category for this. EDIT: please delete this post as I don't know how but I'll post it myself

Nope. The 3770 that came in the computer is not overclockable. But I find it good enough as it is :D

I have a stock fan from dell on the CPU and on the back (yes I know.... I bought a pre built dell computer laugh it up) I was getting worried because with some Google searches people said not to go over 60

What is the recommended heat for this chip? I just started Folding and I also downloaded core temp to see my temperatures, and when its at full my temperature goes to 67°C ( Max is 70) is that too high? (Sorry about the typo in the title, I don't know if its possible to edit)

ok i just reinstalled windows completely and the driver installed correctly. everything works thanks for the help !

im sorry but i do not know much about this. i bought my computer from dell and it didnt come with any cds for installation. right now i am on the dell website looking for the drivers

Alright sorry for the long time to reply but I'm on my phone because its jamming every 10 seconds. I realized in windows updates that a data controller update doesn't seem to be able to be installed. Right now I'm just downloading windows 7 on my other harddrive so there is a bunch of updates

My computer randomly freezes and i don't know why. some applications keep on working while it is frozen, and i can play the games or use the applications that are not frozen (like right now on chrome) but i cannot open task manager, neither can I CTRL ALT DEL. I also get a random pop up saying: Microsoft Windows The application is not responding. the program may respond again if you wait. Do you want to end the process? That has been doing this for a day now and I don't know what is happening. It happens randomly and i usually only notice it when i try to open a new application but it also happens when i play a game like League of Legends or Binding of Isaac. The only way to fix it is to Hard boot my computer and it happens maybe 3 times per hours. HELP! Thanks, Emmanrocks PS. Could it be my SSD (OCZ Vector) ? its about a month old and this never happened before.
