  1. How about the Blacknoise Noiseblocker Multiframe S-Series M12-PS?
  2. Hi guys, I've recently built a computer with the NZXT H440 case. I'm using the included 3 120mm fans as an intake at the front, but with the dust filter and the restricted environement, I think the 2 radiator fans at the top of the case cant take that much air, affecting the CPU cooling. In addition, the included fans spin at full speed as they are connected to a fan hub at the back of the motherboard (directly powered by a Molex cable), and they do a more than just noticeable noise. I'm considering to replace the front fans and to buy a splitter which would allow me to control the fans via BIOS while they are connected to the PSU with a Molex or a SATA cable. Here's my doubt: I don't really know if doing this replacement would improve the temperatures in my system and if it would reduce the noise level. In this case, which fan should I choose? Thanks in advance, Ivax98
  3. Ok, but you are using the included front fans? Would you recommend the Noctuas?
  4. I'll look for something similar (I'm from Europe and there I don't know if there's the same availability). Thanks anyway
  5. Yep, I know. I think the X61 rad is a triple one, isn't it? So you are telling me you have all three fans connected to one single header?
  6. Hi guys, I've recently built a new PC with the NZXT H440 case and I'm getting some trouble concerning cooling. I'm using an Intel i7-4790K, and even if I haven't oveclocked, I feel like the temperatures are not OK. The cooler itself is a Corsair H100i with two SP120s replacing the included fans connected directly to the pump in a push config. I've replaced the rear case fan too with an AF140. The front intake fans are the NZXT FN V2 (those included with the case) and are pulling air into the case through the dust filter, which reduces considerably the airflow; they are connected to the fan hub at the back of the motherboard and powered by a Molex cable. I've installed the Corsair Link software but it seems not to work properly, as it can't manage any fan and the temperatures shown don't correspond to the real ones. The fact is that when the CPU starts getting warmer, the rear fan (connected to the motherboard) increases its RPM, but the radiator ones (connected to the pump and managed "theoretically" by the Corsair Link software) don't. I think I could solve the radiator problem by buying an Y splitter and plugging the SPs to the motherboard, but I'm still not convinced about the front fans. Considering they don't manage to provide that much airflow, the radiator fans are unable to take enough air to work fine (which added to the RPM's problem makes a great combo). I've thought about replacing the 3 front fans with 3 Noctua NF-F12, as they are quiet, PWM, and they have a great static pressure which would be useful in the closed environement (the dust filter and the H440's front cover) and connecting them to the motherboard using, again, a splitter. So here comes my doubt: while I think two fans to one header is OK, I'm not that convinced about plugging three fans to one single header. I know I could connect them to the hub, but I'm looking for silence and I'd like to be able to control the RPMs. I hope you guys can find a solution. All suggestments welcome, Ivax98
  7. Ok, my budget is more or less $2000 US and my main point is gaming.
  8. Hi guys, I'm planning to build a low noise optimized gaming PC with these components: -Intel i7-4790k -Corsair H100i (using SP120s High Permormance fans) -Corsair Dominator Platinum 2x8 GB -MSI Z97S SLI Plus Krait Edition (available soon) -Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 -Samsung 850 PRO 128GB (OS and common use apps) -WD Caviar Black 1TB -Corsair RM750 80 Plus Gold -NZXT H400 (replacing the rear fan with a Corsair AF140) My intention is to keep the 3 front stock fans included in the case, replace the stock 140mm rear fan with the AF140 and mount the H100i's 240mm radiator at the top replacing the stock fans with the SP120s pushing air out. The three front fans would be controlled together, the same to the two radiator fans. The question here is about controlling them. I've seen the MoBo has itself 2 CPU 4xpin fan headers and 3 system 4xpin fan headers, but as I'll install the H100i, with the Corsair Link software I think I would be able to control the speed of, at less, the radiator fans. Here comes my doubt; I would like to set a configuration which gradually increased fan RPMs according to the CPU temperatures, so as to keep the PC as quiet as possible. I don't know if the Corsair software would allow me to do so with all the fans. As you may have seen, I'm a complete noob; if some of you could help me I would be very thankful. And, if you think improvements in the build can be made, let me know please Ivax98

  10. I'll be building a PC with the NZXT H440, and I'm planning to pick some external USB drives. I don't know how much do you need them, but at least in my case, I just use the optical drive in my PC with old games and installing programmes (which today for sure are downloadable through the internet)
  11. Please, could you tell me which these reasons are? Because I'd like to be sure
  12. Is the extra prize worth for the extra performance?
