okay dont know what i did but now i got a post screen askoing to run the bios setup

that would be the same as resetting it with the jumper on the board correct?

So i just reset the CMOS and i tried booting my pc and its still nothing. The monitor is plugged into the mobo via HDMI and the monitor is coming up saying no cable connected. Did the motherboard just fry?

Yeah I shut down the system and unplugged the power supply before swapping things out, as for the CMOS how would i do that?

hey there LTT forum users, So i have like 3 hard drives and an ssd in my pc (very impractical i know) but i was taking out one of the dying hdds and when i replaced it with the new drive and tried to boot the computer it refuses to post. the fans spin up and the lights light up but nothing posts on the screen it just stays black So far ive tried unplugging every drive but my boot drive which is the ssd and trying to boot it, unplugging the gpu and reseating the ram and so far none of it has worked the hard drives all still spin up although im not sure that has anything to do with it. Any clue as to how i royally F'ed this one up?
