  1. bought this yesterday. hope its worth it since I'm upgrading from a 17" 1440x900 monitor.
  2. Thanks for the posts guys. Made me think about a lot of things I wasn't taking into consideration.
  3. O really.... I assumed it was good since it has generally positive reviews online.
  4. Any opinions on this build I have in mind? 5. Yeah it may be worth considering if you can spare the money, but if you're on a tight budget I understand.
  6. try the 4690 instead of the 4460. Its $10 more on Amazon and it has a better clock speed/turbo. Don't know the pricing for Hong Kong though so yeah....
  7. Yeah this is the build I would like. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/triion/saved/K7wD4D
  8. I was wondering if buying an 8350 is still worth it considering it's a 2 year old processor. I'm building an all around computer for gaming/editing and would like you opinions on whether or not it's worth it to invest money in a 2 year old component. If not what are some similarly priced alternatives. I am also planning on overclocking it.
  9. Also a good point that may be an option as well. Thanks
  10. Yeah true, maybe I'll just save up some extra pennies and get a better machine overall. Taxes in Cali are a pain so a $1100 build is really more like $1250 lol. Thanks tho
  11. I'm also buying an ssd tho so that's another $70.
  12. I did the math and it came out to about $1250 after taxes and I don't think I can afford that much. Keep in mind z97 is more expensive and I have to get an after market cooler ex. h80i or 212
  13. I'm from the US and I mostly shop on amazon and newegg.
  14. Hello, I am building a new computer and I'm having trouble deciding between having more CPU power or more GPU power. Is it better to sacrifice overclocking potential to get a better GPU? My budget is around $1050-$1100 and I'll be both gaming and editing.
