  1. Thank you so much for all the help @Constantin and @Analog , I ordered them, hope they will arrive soon.
  2. The only difference I see is the CL, mine has 15, the new kit has 16. I wonder if this would cause some problems...
  3. Hello everyone! I want to upgrade my work rig to 128 GB of ram. I work with big 3d environments and I need the space. I build a first generation Threadripped PC that I'm still using, but I want to add an extra 64 GB of RAM. The MB I'm using is the Asus Zenith Extreme. The kit that I have now is: G.Skill F4-3200C15Q-64GTZR, D4, 3200MHz, 64GB, C15 GSkill TriZ K4 R , but I can't find it in stock here where I live. I found GSKill Trident Z Neo 64GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Quad Channel Kit ( code is F4-3200C16Q-64GTZN ). Same MHz but different CL.. would it be compatible to use and upgrade? I would need it as soon as possible.. will order today if someone would confirm this should work with no problems. Thank you so much for your time, Alex
  4. Hello! I'm having a problem with my motherboard. As the title suggests, the fan speed and even pump speed is not detected in the BIOS or Windows. I am using the Dark Base Pro 900. I used it's hub at first and the fans were not detected but still spun. Yesterday I installed a thermaltake hub and I have the same problem, no detection. The weird thing is, if I change the fan curve, the speed of the fans changes. BIOS is the latest version. Do you need any other info? Thanks!
  5. @keelsey9 Ah awesome, I will do that! Any good switch recommendation? Or any 10/100/1000 Mbps from a decent company would be good?
  6. Hello! Soon I'll be opening an office in which I will bring around 4 pc's , 2 workstations, one render station and one NAS. We'll be getting internet via Wireless adapters, but due to security and speed reasons, I wanted to make a private network between all 4 computers(and maybe more in the future). We'll be using files from the NAS, to work and render with. Could you please recommend a router? I am very noobish when it comes to networking. If you need any additional info, please let me know. Have a great day, Alex
  7. Hey guys and gals, I need 64 GB of RAM for 3d rendering and was wondering what would be your advice on what to get for a 1800x on a MSI x370 Titanium MB. Is it ok to get 4 sticks of dual channel memory or does Ryzen work best with only two sticks? Do you recommend G.Skill, the new Corsair Vengence LED? I already have 32 GB of Corsair LPX at 3000 Mhz(but I could only get them to work at 2666, and I kind of hate that), but I have some scenes exceeding the memory limits. I would prefer getting some high speed ram because I also game on this PC when I eventually stop working, hehe. Thanks a lot for your help, Alex
  8. Hello community! After building another desk that was shipped to a gaming bar, here is me again revising my own desk. My main problem with the desk I made was the fact that one video card is with waterblock up and one with waterblock down.. so I needed to search for a big a*s SLI brige to be able to put them like this. After being unsuccessful in hunting a big one down, and not being able to make myself one, I then searched for people that could maybe weld two together to make a longer one... I found someone that had the knowledge and tools to do it but he said that he's not risking it, and then the lightbulb moment, why not make a connector, like video cards have, to link two together, that might work, so here it is, my long sli cable! Made in Romania, printed in China, hehe. I had to link three of them because they mirror themselves from one end to another, so linking two(at least I couldn't figure it out how) was impossible. I actually went to a friend that has two 1080's to test them out. We used 3d mark to test with first his HBM, then with a normal Brige(actually, one of those to make up the long sli brige) and one with the actual long bridge. Graphic scores were like this: HBM: 21749 Single Brige: 21579 Long tripple Brige: 21623 Here is the actual piece that made it possible ( I still have about 8 of these): This was amazing.. no signal loss, no artifacts, no glitches, no nothing, it works perfectly! Here is how it looks in the table, but I still have so many things to do... mount the monitor on the wall, paint the sli cable with plasti dip, get some nice LED's for the whole table... etc etc... Hope you like how it looks! Alex
  9. @maxvons Thanks! Oh I do see all the problems and do care, since I`ll be using it mainly for work( 3d graphic design) and gaming. Colors are extremely important for me, so having a gradient on it is a big no no. And as stated, I`ll be using it all day since I work from home (about 8-14 hours a day) so having a fault will probably resolve in either punching through it or throwing it out the window after a few days, haha.
  10. @arrowman1256 and @maxvons thanks so much! Please let me know how the monitor behaves and if you are having problems / if you can get it to over 70hz That is literally my only concern for the 34UC88, the refresh rate... Take care, Alex
  11. Thank you @maxvons ! Since I`m buying the new monitor in about less than a month, any other suggestions? Or insight if I should wait for a early or late Q4 release? Thanks! Alex
  12. @vojta.pokorny and @maxvons Thanks so much for the recommendations! G-sync would be great to have, and the panel seems to be high quality from the reviews I saw for the LG 34UC88. My only gripe is the refresh rate, for the last like 4 years i`ve been accustomed to over 100 hz(I had a samsung with 120hz and now own a swift with 144 hz), and I sit 8-12 hours in front of the pc every day (with some brakes.. I don`t wanna die at 35, haha). And I`m afraid that 75 would really affect me(I know it`s sad, but...). Is there any other option? Should I wait for a new display that`s been announced? If anyone knows about announcements or has been following display release schedules. Thanks so much, Alex
  13. Hey community, In about a month I`m planning to do a monitor upgrade and sell the one that I`m using now. My eye was on the Acer Predator x34 100hz, but I`m not sure if that is the best option and would love to hear your opinions on it! IPS would be great since I`m working a lot with computer graphics. I run two 980 watercooled and overclocked and also game a lot. (basically this PC runs all day, work and play) Thank you so much for taking the time reading and responding. Alex
  14. So here we go guys and gals, the finished (and shipped) product. Some pictures: Custom made Frontplate on the NVIDIA 980 GPU: MSI decided to ship one of their best motherboars without a I/O shield.. so I designed it in 3ds Max, printed it in 3d and BOOM, shield for Xpower Gaming Titanium Edition.. just one of the perks for having a All-In Table. Custom made backplate for Asus Strix GeForce GTX 980 As always, the best watercooling parts from EKWB. If you see this reservoir, you might presume that it might have lost a few Hearthstone or League of Legends games, but no, the reason it`s tilted is because it can be filled with ease in this position, since the high point of the liquid is taller than the pump, magic! (actually, physics). Same frontplate, but now with the green LED`s from http://addoncustoms.com/ one of THE best LED strips on the market. I just love how the sanding on this one turned out #perfectimperfections Hope you like the results! Alex
  15. @Pbr38 yep, here it is (attached). When you print it, just to make sure 100% that it`s at the right scale, the object measures exactly 171.513mm in length. cover.STL
