  1. oh i've heard of that, over in the states well at least nj no such thing exists as far as I know
  2. fair enough if its gigabit and free why not lol where do you find one of those anyway?
  3. Network switches are pretty useful and if you don't need a big switch for $15 bucks you can pick up a netgear gigabit 5 port switch from newegg w/ promo code EMCEHFF36 and mail in rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122598
  4. i feel like companies should honor orders where the price was wrong. take the hit and honor it to be fair
  5. that would be smart but honestly both are great deals, the extra $100 just for the bump to the i7 is just about worth it, even without valuing the gpu, if you really wanted too you could remove the 730 maybe sell it and get another gpu.
  6. according the the kickstarter page which lists the gpu length it can support the answer is yes,

^^^ thiss .. worth noting that the 950 pro ssd (nvme) has read speeds of 2.5gb/s. that's crazy fast for the price just make sure your motherboard supports it
  8. Thats actually not a bad idea but the case would get very hot on the outside right?? I think it would at least be pretty warm to the touch, it's a cool idea but I honestly idk how many people would be interested in it. But as a unique system build it's badass, someone did that in last month's build of the month
  9. awesome! thanks for answering, I'm sure more people will ask questions and offer feedback if you stick around here
  10. Keep up the good work!.. Question if it doesn't reach full goal on kickstarter will you still offer this case to purchase somehow?
  11. Not sure if this has been shared on here yet or not but check it out... A mac pro case copy, these guys really went went out of their way to copy it. Everything from the actual design to the black glossy finish, even the promo bio video on the kickstarter page was made just like an apple product video. All the way down to the icons they use on the kickstarter page. BUT I haven't been more excited for a case in a while, I have had a mini itx hackintosh for over 2 years now so this is so appealing to me. I actually do hope it gets funded and that apple doesn't find a way to sue or bother to do so. I am 100% building a monster hackintosh 2.0 if this comes through. Share thoughts! update: Alexander Gomez (creator of dune case) has been kind enough to show up and share unique information about the case internal design and answer questions https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dunecase/dune-case
  12. Yeah honestly it is, very happy with the purchase i've been running it through benchmarks seems to be matching up well. honestly I usually am about these things, especially when it comes to pc hardware but I have experience with vega and I know for a fact that if you buy from evga b stock and aren't happy with it, you can return it for a full refund. They even have 24/7 tech support I once called at 3am local time lol. Also if you're gunna be doing a "scrapyard" build I'd be more shady about other parts but not b stock. Good luck!
  13. this isn't much of a review, but just wanted to throw up a couple of pics showing the condition of the gtx 980 sc (reference) card I ordered from evga B stock. Obviously a lot of what they sell there is used or factory refurbished as far as I know, so I was surprised to see how perfect this card was. Only imperfections you'll see is micro scratches on the glass , can't see them in person just on these dslr pics lol .. share thoughts!
  14. I just picked up a gtx 980 reference sc for $385 shipped. Did I make the right choice? as most of you guys know the 970 was around $250 so maybe i should of gotten the 970 and overclocked it. But than again a 980 at 970 price range was too good for me to give up.. any thoughts?
  15. i dont really see how the 280x would be a better deal than a $175 gtx 770 check out benchmarks on mulitple websites!! the benefit with going with the 280x would be the vram but than again id be paying a little more for it..
