    4930k 1.2Ghz Idle - Can it be boosted? Basically my 4930k is OC to 3.9Ghz and boosted to 4.2Ghz when I intend on doing anything intensive. The idle clock spools down to 1.2Ghz when there is no real stress. All sounds fine except sometimes while gaming there will be a small lull in the power required and the CPU will drop down to 1.2Ghz causing real drop in fps for around 5-10s and I'm sure there must be a way around this.. Is there a way to boost the idle speeds?

    Steam name: BlazingRaptor Age: 19 Looking for people/squad to play some Arma 3 with. Since the last community I was a part of disbanded been looking for a new group of people to play Arma with. I have over 300hrs on Arma 3 alone with over 100hrs of those flying helicopters/practising troop transport. At heart I am a hardcore player and like to do things right but always have time for those fun moments.
