  1. But say my dad couldn't just look up the logs from Time Warner and see exactly what I search?
  2. Exactly what the title says. Can I look things up on Tor browser without being tracked by ISPs? Thanks!
  3. Hi! Thank you for the response. I love the monitor I have, and I would say the color/picture quality is superb. I personally keep mine on a higher brightness setting which can bleach the colors a bit, but on the standard settings it looks great. Brightness and everything is very even, the only very minor gripe I have with it is the very small bit of backlight bleed at the bottom, but most certainly not a deal breaker - it is only noticeable if you have a pitch black background or something like that. I hardly notice it at all.
  4. Hi, so the title is pretty self-explanatory. I built my computer last year with 2 980 Strix's from Asus, and to start off I bought 1 of these and I absolutely love it so I thought about getting two more this year. However, I wanted to see if you all thought two 980s could even run a game like GTA V on max (or close to max settings) at 144 fps, or near 144 fps. Thank you for any help in advance!
  5. Oh it does? Crap..... I'll try and get it up before my mom sees my grades than
  6. Hi! Thank you for the response, but that grade is unweighted and I believe in the US they only take into account weighted grades
  7. Where is your country? I'm in USA, probably should have mentioned that
  8. Hi, everyone! So I have recently started my first year of high school and things had been going very well, but some personal things have been going on and I haven't been as focused on school lately which has caused my grades to start going downhill. Really, I have a few questions: - Does your GPA have a huge impact on you during the quarter grades (do colleges look at them, or take them into account)? - How do you calculate GPA? I read somewhere that Honors classes are weighted .5 higher than regular, and AP classes are weighted at 1 higher... But I really don't know if this is true, nor do I know how accurate those websites are. Anyway, my current grades are: Honors Geometry - 90.54 Honors Biology - 88.49 Honors English - 87.57 AP Human Geography - 85.5 Spanish - 88.47 Software Dev. - 100 Phys Ed - 99.33 Any help would be much appreciated! The only reason I say these are bad grades is because I know I am capable of straight A's, but like I said my personal family issues have caused a bit of a lack of focus on school. It would be great to hear that quarter grades don't matter, but I don't know..... Thank you all!
  9. So we need a material that we can make a statue of liberty cut-out out of that must be nine foot tall - other than cardboard [EDIT] So I love all of the suggestions, but I failed to mention that this is just a thing for high school Someone in the building team suggested we use cardboard, but I thought it would be too flimsy at nine foot tall I can't really spend money on foam and wood and what not
  10. Alright, so I am going to make this as straightforward as possible: I am selling my PS3, as I now have a computer and could use some extra cash. I have been using said PS3 as a Netflix, Vudu, Hulu, etc. media player since I got my computer, but now since I am selling it, I require a new method for streaming movies and shows. I went out to Walmart and bought Chromecast, thinking it would work fine for everything I need, at a great price of only 35 bucks. However, during set up something wasn't working. My phone (a Galaxy Note 4) was giving me an error saying it couldn't connect. I narrowed down the problem to my router not having UPnP enabled, so I went to ask my stepdad for the router's password. He then asked me why I needed it, and I explained to him what I just explained to you. He then said that for security reasons (he owns a buisness from the house, so it is understandable) I wasn't allowed to enable it. So I am stuck now. Do you think I should return it? Or do any of you guys know of a UPnP workaround (to be honest, I don't see why it has to be enabled if the Chromecast and the device it is trying to see are on the same network, but I am not a networking nut, so I don't know)? Thank you very much {edit} I have decided to return the Choromecast.
  11. Which are better in your opinion, hd600/650s or the akg k7xx?
