  1. Right, my pc has been up and running for around 9 or 10 months now and about 3 weeks ago we had a power cut and the psu died, i got it RMA'd and then everything was fine for the first 2 days.On the thrid day i booted up the system and some weird pixelation happend on the boot screen of win7, once it had booted into the os, the resolution was 1:1 according to my monitor, this screen also had a weird pixelation and color shift too. This happens everytime i boot up into windows now. Once every 5 or 6 reboots it would let me into the os like normal, this is where i started troubleshooting, i found out that when i have all three monitors in a surround configuration the pixelation never occured, in boot or in the os. So i looked around on the web and found some similar issues, i have tried to do the following: Different driver versions, Different monitors, 1 monitor at a time, Different outputs on the GPU. "underclocking" and overclocking the gpu a little bit. Now, when i can boot into safe mode, i can uninstall the geforce drivers and use the built in ones (or whatever they are) and be totallly fine but only use one monitor, it doesnt recognise the other three. This is how im writing this. So to conclude i have tried everything i can find and come to the point that is is somehthing to do with the drivers (from what i can see). This is very frustrating and i am wondering what it is and if anyone else is having a similar problem. It has got to the point where i cant even get into the os to change to a surround configuration where everything works fine. 2. Itsnot proffessional work but i do alot of gaming so i thought this would be great for both.
  3. I just received an email from OverclockersUK about the new Benq XL2430T 144hz 1ms Gaming Monitor - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-107-BQ I was going to buy the Benq XL2420Z but then i saw this, from looking at the general specs i cant see a huge difference apart from some new color technology they are implementing into it and the new design of the S Switch, I personally do a bit of graphic design so any thoughts on this monitor over the XL2420Z? Thanks in advance! This is my first post so if i did anything wrong pleese tell me and i will try to improve on my next!
