  1. So I currently have enough money to purchase a 980Ti, but I could easily wait about a month and have enough to purchase a Titan X. I would not be using the Titan for any sort of 3D animation or production, only for gaming. I would assume it would be a waste to buy a Titan X just for gaming, but I am not positive. Any suggestions would be appreciated .
  2. I took out everything. No extra stand offs or anything. At this point, I am thinking the CPU is DOA.
  3. The gigabyte logo will no longer appear, still just a black screen.
  4. So, I need to go at the moment. Will try to resume my troubleshooting. Thanks for the help.
  5. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/q24yNG I also upgraded to windows 10, that is currently on my HDD. Old rig worked fine.
  6. I had the GPU in my old rig, it works fine, but I am trying that currently.
  7. Actually, it just came up with the gigabyte logo and then went to black screen.
  8. I am currently upgrading my PC, when I turn it on it spins up for about 20 seconds, then turns off. This is the hardware I am trying to use. I tested with my old RAM and it still did not post.
  9. What should I really look for in top tier motherboards? I am not too sure.
  10. I currently have this custom built PC and was wondering what would be the best part to upgrade, I am thinking about upgrading the processor and motherboard. My current budget is around $600, I want this to be my last upgrade for a while. If you could give me any motherboard suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: I would prefer an Intel CPU.
  11. I switched from a GTX 660 to a GTX 980 and lost ~700 GB of hard drive storage. Any ideas? Thanks. EDIT: Solved. Thanks for the help everyone.
