Ok so basically i have a activation key for windows 8.1, but before i do anything i want to make sure i install the correct version i want, the correct version being the 64 bit, what do i need, and what do i need to do to ensure i get the 64 bit?

Ok i installed windows 8.1 on my computer but instead of getting the 64 bit version which i wanted i got a 32 bit, i just bought a key to activate windows, but what did i do wrong? it didnt really give me a choice to choose between either the 32 or the 64 bit.

Alright well i was lucky enough to find a windows 8.1 64 bit key for around 28 bucks, but before i buy it what would i need for installation(64-bit) and how would i install it?

Sorry if i noobed it aha. But no i did not previously own the mobo or CPU, i thought the i5 3330 was better than my i3540. How exactly do i get that OS? i clicked to lik and page was not found, i just dont ant to be scammed for my money is all, and a legit purchase would just make me feel safer.
