  1. Thanks for all the feedback guys!! Did not expect to get as big of a response as I did...
  2. Going through yt I see a few videos about how Ryzen liked specific RAM when it first came out. Is that still the case with the 2nd gen Ryzen? Should I still be looking at the Flare X G.Skill RAM or does it just not matter anymore?
  3. @Ryan_Vickers gotcha. They didn't promote as being a Fry's Exclusive so I was wondering how I couldn't find the damn thing. @Enderman It was that one, but it was Teal instead of red.
  4. Went to Fry's and seen a Teal and White Spec Alpha case, but I can't find this thing anywhere online. Fry's didn't have the model number, but they have their item number 8688270. Anyone ever see this anywhere?
  5. On Amazon, the Omega is 33 bucks less. Would it be better to just get the Amp Extreme or is it barely a difference? In reference, it will be on a Vizio D40u-D1 4k TV.
  6. Missed your post somehow... That's what I'm checking out now. I figure most of the time I play SC2 or some MOBA's here and there, but I'm not looking for that perfect headshot haha.
  7. I would end up having 2 monitors just because I can't picture not having 2 anymore. 3 was too much. I just remember the input lag being the biggest downfall and wanted to know if there was something else I could be overlooking. If it's good enough on a console to play, then wouldn't beefier hardware pick up the slack for the higher resolution and refresh rate? You can get a decent 4k tv now for half the price of the predator easily.
  8. Wow, so it was that bad for even GTA 5? What TV was it? Did it just have really bad input lag in general? Something like this one is what I'm referring to. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/vizio/m-series-2015?uxtv=f581
  9. I was at lunch today at Fry's and wanted to see the x34 Predator. They didn't have it, but a colleague of mine brought up why not do a TV for a fraction of the cost. So My question is what is the true drawback now with a 4K LED TV for gaming and computer work? Some of these TV's refresh at 120hz. The lag? Is it any different from console gaming? What's the true drawbacks for someone looking at TV's instead of a "Monitor" for school, work, and gaming?
  10. Motherboard doesn't support nVME capabilities so I couldn't boot from it regardless. So I'll be returning it and I guess the secondary SSD I got will be the one I use. I thank anyone and everyone that read through this!!
  11. It's formatted, but the BIOS still doesn't see it.
  12. So I put it in properly at an angle. The BIOS didn't see it, but Windows Disk Management did. I'm formatting it now and will install Windows on here shortly now that it's enabled. Is there a reason why the BIOS won't see it, but Windows would?
  13. https://youtu.be/j1pd12WBuRU?t=1m50s After watching that... His Clicks. I just put them in far enough to so I could screw them in. I'm going to try this.
  14. http://imgur.com/a/ptUvT So the first picture is how it's laid out. I tried the slot on the right first that didn't work. second picture, is the first stick. third picture is the second stick I bought from fry's being being in. Fourth is how they both look being inside. They don't go all the way in. I didn't test it with both it. Just a single one. fifth is the BIOS with both showing it as empty.
  15. I posted the pro-star page because it had the spec sheet it's the GT72 Dominator -019. And yes I know you can only have one. I bought a second one to test to see if it was the machine. And I just tried the SATA one and it didn't work by it's self. And as for the notches, they both fit and I'll be adding pictures later. As of right now the system does not see the PCIe when it's in the correct slot or the SATA SSD in it's spot.
