i have been wondering, for installing windows can i use an external drive, or does it need drivers and stuff to run?]

i got a big music collection, i have a butload of ps2 games that i use on an emulator, and other stuff, in the future i plan to get like a 2-3 tb drive to put the game files and music (and also big movie collection)

i know it looks HORRIBLE but sacrifices must be made, i really use alot the odd on my currect pc i could take double side tape to put the drive bay cover stick onto the odd door

how does the i3 perform well at its stock speed vs a 6300, i still plan to get a hyper 212 anyways, overclock or not.

what can you shed off this do slap in an i5? or how about an i3 4330, i hear you can overclock the shit out of those and wont a dual core CPU hold back an r9 280?

what pricessor is the G3258? is it a celeron? Edit: found it its a pentium, but those are quite old and is just a dual core..... Double Edit: god dammit is isnt old but its still a dual core.

I need some of you guys here at the techtips forums to batch up an mATX intel Z97 chipset build, the target budget is 1000$$$$ It must include the hardware, 1080p monitor (i prefer TN panel), for the case the Corsair Obsidian 350d. a can controller and a couple of extra fans more moar swooshyness. also a optical drive, of windows 7 x64, no peripherals (mice and keyboard) and a ssd/hdd combo, 120 gb is more than enough for the sdd and at least 750gb for the hdd. i really want to do a build with the corsair 350d, that is an mATX case but i really like how the amd fx 6300 is comparable to an i5 and comes 100 bucks cheaper

in what ways awful? if the intel mATX boards are any better can you recommend a good board with a core i5?

Hi guys, i plan on buying this sexy case, i made an airflow diagram using my MAD SKILLZ (and paint), plz leave your thoughts, i will cover the buying of any extra fans, the 3 it comes with isnt enough anyways. and i will be using an after market fan controller, dont really like the 3 speed clicky-clicky one it comes with, and with an aftermarket one i can slap in some sexy LEDs to make this sexy case even sexier (sexyception) going for positive airflow of course, keep evil dust off

the second one fits all of my needs, looks pretty sexy with blue lights and for that price!, but is there anyhting with even less channels, i originally had in mind something like the knob on the corsair 600t case.

Hi, im looking for a fan controller, i need it to be just 1 big knob that controlls everything or with as little zone knobs as possible. and it needs to be mouned on an optical drive bay.
