  1. Do you Have any more ideas? That didn't work for me When ever I talk to dell I get the generic response "The system is performing as expected"
  2. Dude, I know that laptop don't turbo to the highest, 3.5 was what I was getting, now 0.8-1.7 is not normal! Temps are great, even better since I did a repaste. Zero dust in the system. I dont even get to 30w of power on the CPU, watch the video link and you will see the issue. Cinebench R15 scores are SUPER BAD. I was getting 1210-1228.... Now I am getting less than 600... There is a problem.
  3. How do I go about doing the same settings in throttlestop? I am also closing XTU to not have any conflicts with Throttlestop.
  4. Yes, XTU has been on the computer for two months (its fully updated)
  5. I'm in there, which one do I change? (Still a noob with XTU)
  6. I have owned my dell xps 9570 i7 8750h since August. I have been having issues every now and then randomly. When I put a stress on the cpu it down clocks to an unnecessary amount. The temps are fine when it down clocks. I cant even render a video without it dropping the clock down. But when it doesn't down clock (below the base) I can easily render a video at 3.5Ghz Any ideas? A video that I made demonstrating the problems (Synthetic) https://drive.google.com/file/d/19y9CjMUVNTiF5WW1R3PHB8EyUAlcUTq9/view
  7. Its been 6 Hours since I had reinstalled all of my graphics drivers, that seemed to be the problem, I uninstalled Intel HD 630 driver first and that's when it fixed the problem, but I uninstalled both of the drivers (nvidia) just to start off with a clean slight. If I haven't received any more issues within the next day or so I will post.
  8. I was thinking the same thing, I ordered some thermal pads off of amazon and they should be here by Tuesday
  9. Thanks for the tip, I am new to undervaluing laptops, I am still testing the undervolting limit of my dell, its been pretty stable except when I put the computer to sleep then it crashes. I am running -0.140v on the Cashe and the CPU Core
  10. Thanks for the replay, So far I haven't had any more power throttling since I uninstalled all of my graphics drivers and reinstalled them, I have no idea how a graphics driver can be connected to a CPU issue but so far it is working so I will not ask any more questions since it is working :)..... FOR NOW....
  11. I had just uninstalled and reinstalled my HD 630 and my 1050 ti max q drivers and it it back to normal again, I will continue my testing through my day
  12. I have a Dell XPS 9570 with the i7 8750H. I have just recently started noticing I am power throttling (Thanks to Intel XTU) When I first receved the laptop on July 31 I didn't have any problems running ADIA 64 and Cinebench R15, but now I am unable to get full CPU utilization. When I run Cinebench R15, my CPU down clocks to less than 1.5 GHz and CPU usage drops to only 50% and the temps are less than 58c. But every once in a while I get my full system power and I run at 3.9GHz while under full stress loads.
