  1. Yea, I have been eyeing such a thing. I usually do not have to worry about these kinds of situations though. Might as well do it anyway for in the future. Also, I fixed the problem. I used the old HDD from my laptop in my pc, then attached the SSD. Somehow this worked and the ssd showed up in the diskmanagement window. Seems like @Tosa was right I think. Thanks for all the help!
  2. I'll be back in an hour or so. (dinner + dishes) Feel free to comment more ideas/questions! I appreciate all the help!
  3. Unfortunately, I am the only one with a PC. I also have my laptop ofc. but we only have one Windows surface laptop beside that.
  4. Will try. Will need to find my USB-stick first though
  5. Ah, sorry. I am unable to find the SSD when I plug it into my PC. My laptop, when I place the 250gb SSD in, simply boots up into the bios and doesn't show up as a boot-able option there. (Boot order part)
  6. @Tosa They were both visible in diskmanagement when I was preparing the data migration. Will see if the old one still has windows on it. @NelizMastr As I said in the post. It isn't in diskmanagement. The old SSD is intended as the boot drive for my laptop, and when I try to plug it into that one I only get to the bios. It might've ackbarred itself, seeing as that bios also didn't show the ssd as a bootable option.
  7. Hello all! So, I did an upgrade from a 250gb SSD (evo 850) to a 500gb (also evo 850). I used the Samsung Data Migration software. Which went completely fine, but now the 250gb evo 850 SSD is no longer visible to my pc. I've tried looking for it in DiskManagement, PC folders, and BIOS. Nothing whatsoever. I tried different sata cables and ports. The same goes for the power input into the ssd. Anyone got an idea? Thanks for reading!
  8. Not exactly what I'm looking for but I'll put it on my list to try in the store.
  9. So, my current mouse is just getting old and is beginning to show annoying quirks. However, I really, REALLY want to keep the three additional buttons I have around my scroll wheel. I'd also like to keep 3 buttons on the thumb side. I haven't been able to find any mice that have this though. My current mouse is the Steelseries Cataclysm (shown in the picture.) The cataclysm mouse is simply huge and I got used to it, but I don't mind if the mouse is smaller. The budget is of no concern seeing as I'll be saving up for it. The reason why I'm not just buying the same mouse again is because its software has been a pain since the start. That and I'd like an upgrade, not the same thing again. Thanks for reading!
  10. Sorry, I forgot to do that before throwing it away. A friend provided me with his old evo 212 bracket. Once he gave me the brackets, i checked at the spot where the rubber used to be. On his there were the holes (with screws) where mine had a flat plastic surface. I had even tried poking the supposed hole spots with a screwdriver, but alas. Thanks for the responses all!
  11. Hrmm... Weird, mine looks the same but only has black solid plastic beneath the sound dampeners.
  12. As I said in my post. The brackets (I called them clamps) are NOT removable from the previous cpu fan. There are also no spare brackets in the evo212 box. (yes, I bought this myself from a shop)
  13. Hello all, My question is not whether I can use a Noctua NF-F12 PWM, 120mm as a case fan, but how to put it on my heatsink. The original fan of the Evo 212 has these clamps on the sides, but those are not removable. Do I need to buy clamps? Should I just use tiewraps? Thanks in advance!

    Headphone advice

Hello all, I've been clicking around the web for a while and simply can't really decide what new headphones to get. Lets start with what I have and what I do: I am currently using the Siberia v2 Frost blue. I find these quite comfortable and I simply have no experience with better headphones. I also have a seperate mic, so I don't need that on the headphone. What do I do? Besides procrastinating I tend to play game MMOs and aRPGs mostly, listen to music through spotify and/or youtube (The High Kings) and also watching movies (streamed and otherwise). I've got the opportunity to buy a pair of Sony MDR-1A (106 euro), AKG 7xx (190 euro) or something else entirely. I have no DAC or AMP and will most likely not buy those. I'm trying to keep the costs under 200 euro. Thanks for reading!
