  1. 15.7 appears to have fixed all the blue screen and black screen issues that I was having that are not game bug related (game bugs like witcher 3 and far cry 4 crashing to black screen, but that is the games problem) Eyefinity however, does still not work. I am going to try messing with the cabling again, perhaps I can force the system to see it all. AFTER POSTING EDIT: Of course after posting this... the drivers crash and recover a couple seconds later... I am talking with sapphire support right now, perhaps they can help.
  2. I had literally gone to their website, clicked download, used control panel to remove all traces of AMD drivers, and reinstalled using the downloaded version. I actually just downloaded the 15.7 drivers, going to try them now.
  3. Oops, forgot to hit the quote button, I am used to a different forum type repost: @-rascal- I agree that it should just work. I am using 15.17.1 drivers. Reinstalled as of 30 minutes ago. Far Cry 4 has crashed to black screen and the drivers themselves wwhile typing this first line have crashed and recovered once already. The drivers packaging version is: 15.20.1062.1004-150803a1-187669C I am using windows 7 SP1 64-bit. I am not running a Eyefinty setup at this time. I am using a single monitor and am still experiencing issues.

  5. @xeles Eyefinity has never really work when I get a new card, there is always some issue. It is currently plugged into DP, DVI, and a DP port with a DP --> DVI active adapter. It doesn't work. Does not work, yes its a problem. There are not two DVI ports on the card... and I have reinstalled it about 12 times in the last 4 hours. I am working with AMD and Sapphire at the moment, perhaps they will be able to help.
  6. I am happy to report that everything is working, I have some theories why if anybody stumbles on this thread in the future. Theories: 1) The most obvious is drivers... AMD has never really been to good with drivers.... and setting up eyefinity itself is a pain... I sounds tedious and stupid but just keep reinstalling and installing the drivers... installation errors are a thing apparently. 2) The DP adapter needed a cable with a full set of pins to fully convert the DP signal to DVI, and the smaller 18 pin cables just didn't have the extra information needed. 3) Computers are stupid.
  7. There was no damage to the port. However, as if by magic, it all works now. I have no idea what happened, I was just swapping cables left and right and trying it with the adapter and without it. Somehow, it all worked. Final config: DP --> DP port on center monitor (VE28) DP --> DVI active adapter --> DVI port on right monitor (VE27) using the 3m 18+ pin cable. (that i thought was broken but was actually not) DVI --> DVI port on left monitor (VE27) I am going to test some games now, make sure it all works and reboot it a couple times to check if this is just a fluke.
  8. There are only two differences between the two DVI cables, one is a 2m and the other is a 3m. Also the middle set of pins is not there on the shorter cable. (the shorter cable is the one that worked) By middle set of pins I mean that one is a full DVI while the other only has 18 pins. @Heizu No all of the monitors are not the same. Only two are. I have a center Asus VE28 and two flanking Asus VE27's. My display drivers have been reinstalled and installed about 20 times these past few days, they are up to date of an hour ago when I downloaded another install package.
  9. Well I don't even know what is happening anymore. I just tried using a different DVI cable, I stuck on the DP to DVI adaptor and the other monitor worked just fine. I then tried plugging in the DVI cable from the second monitor and got nothing from it. This makes me think it is a defective DVI port.
  10. The monitor works fine, I connected to it via VGA for a long period, no problems.
  11. Hello, This issue has been driving me mad for several days now... I know I have already made a post about this but I received no solutions, so maybe someone else will see it this time. I have been trying to get my Triple monitor eyefinity working. I have plugged in: DP --> DP port on Monitor DP --> DVI Active Adaptor --> DVI Port on monitor DVI --> DVI port on monitor The computer can see the two DP connections, but not the DVI connection. However when I boot just using the DVI connection, it will load BIOS, but the second before the "Windows is loading" screen pops up, the screen loses signal and goes to black. Please, put me out of my misery. System Specs: Gigabyte Z97x gaming 5 motherboard i7 4790k (AIO watercooled) 16gb g.skill sniper (cl 9 version) running at 1866 Corsair 860i Power supply Storage space is irrelevant. All of this inside of a Phanteks Luxe. and of course the new GPU: Sapphire R9 390.
  12. This is a repost of something that was in the Troubleshooting section. It didn't have much luck there and I have always had better responses in General Discussion, so here we go! Hello Community! I just installed my new Sapphire R9 390 GPU and I am trying to configure my triple monitor eyefinity setup. I made sure that my whole setup worked before moving the computer back to its actual spot and plugging my two flanking monitors in. I had testing it with my main monitor supporting DP before plugging in the two other monitors into the HDMI and DVI ports. It booted using the DVI monitor, then decided to use the DP monitor as main. I went to setup eyefinity and it only could "see" two monitors. The monitors it could "see" being the HDMI and DP connected monitors. I have had issues with eyefinity in the past, so I detected displays, and when that didn't work, I rebooted my machine. It still could not detect the third monitor... I refreshed the requirements for eyefinity in my brain by googling them. One DP must be used, then you should be A-OK for triple monitor. Apparently I have missed something, so maybe one of you guys has some knowledge as to the issue I am experiencing. TL;DR: Eyefinity no work. (As usual) New GPU (390). Plugged into DVI, HDMI, and DP. It should work? My system is: Gigabyte Z97x gaming 5 motherboard i7 4790k (AIO watercooled) 16gb g.skill sniper (cl 9 version) running at 1866 Storage space is irrelevant. 13. @Hunter7263 Interesting theory, I can see why it would make sense... In the end I have an Active DP to DVI adapter coming in the mail later this week so... that might sort it out if your theory proves correct.
  14. To be clear, it can only "see" the DP and HDMI monitors.
