  1. So I know about normal graphics cards, and the workstation/rendering cards like a Quadro. So I was just looking around and I saw some Tesla card and holy balls they are more expensive then Quadros. So, what are they and what are they used for?
  2. So Im about to build my first PC and installing an OS. I want to get windows 8.1 student edition(its discounted). I was looking around and I'm still confused. I can buy windows online and download it. Do I download it to a USB and bring it to my new PC boot it then use the product key then or do I need to go buy a disk at a store. IDK if they offer the same discount though.
  3. Well Im moving to Michigan from Virginia so its a bit of a drive. Also Im not shipping it, SO just remove the GPU and but it in its box, and then just put the cases with everything in it in the cases's box.
  4. So in about a week I will be moving and I was wondering if anyone has any tips for moving my PC. Its a full tower so its not the smallest in the world. I figured I should remove my graphics card, put that in its box and just put everything still in the PC in to the box the case came in. Thats just a guess though. So what are your tips?
  5. @Boogieman_WD, thank you for your input I will definitely look into that and perhaps invest in it as a permeant solution down the road.
  6. Thanks for the help, but anther thing I forgot to ask, ans an aerospace engineering major do you think this system could handle some of the lighter programs used for programs such as XFLR5
  7. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/1476137/saved/7McG3C Sorry about that. I will be gaming of course the usual FPS but some others like DCS world, and some minor video editing.
