  1. I have a MSI Dominator GT62VR I bought last year for $2200 (which I somewhat regret), that I used for AutoCAD and various projects for college. It has a 15.6" IPS 60 Hz display, a GTX 1070, an i-6700HK, 32 GB of ram (16 x 2 @ 2400 Mhz), a 1TB Hard Drive, and a 256 GB SSD. Now I just want to sell it so I can buy a GTX 1080 Ti. Also how tf should I approach selling it?
  2. But if they're selling them at double the original price, doesn't that mean they're just looking for a quick flip instead of actually considering using them?
  3. College is a little over a month away and I'm about to receive $1000's in government provided scholarships and stipends. Amusingly, the government also pays for my courses directly, so I pocket all the money. Knowing this, do you think it's worth taking a chance on buying an Antminer L3+? As far as I know, it comes with a control board and a user-friendly interface (I'm a bit new to mining). With the power supply, it'd cost just under $1500 (Which is less than one of my grants). I'd be using it on NiceHash and electricity only costs $0.092 per kW here. At worst right now, I'd probably make at least $35 a day given that the average on NiceHash is $45 on the L3+ and electricity should run south of $2 per day. Do you think it's worth a shot since it ideally has an ROI of less than a month or dump it into two Volta XX80's and a 4K monitor?
  4. I started folding for the first time today and it went fine. Set up my name, joined the group, and entered my passkey. Everything went fine. This was on a system with a G4560 and a GTX 1060 3GB. When I started folding my second desktop and laptop, however, I encountered a couple problems. The desktop has an i7 4790K with a R9 280X and the laptop had an i7 6700HQ with a GTX 1070. For some reason, on the two systems, the CPUs just say "Ready" and while the GPUs work, I don't get any points for them. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. So I just beat Witcher 3 for my second time. Picked Triss over Yen this time. I've put in over 100 hours this run, power-leveled all the way to 69 (I know) from 34, finished the Hearts of Stone expansion, and did all this so I could start a new game plus for when the next DLC rolls out next year. Then about 5 minutes ago, I found out you can only enter new game plus once per run. Wow, I'm sad. I was all high and mighty, decked out in Ofieri armor, ladden with over-powered runes and enchantments that cost me 50k in end, and ready to start a new game just so I could watch the intro again, save, and fill my time with Fallout 4 until Blood and Wine rolled out. Well, there goes all my joy for the next two weeks. Anyone else disappointed? I really think they shouldn't cut you off like that. What's the point of no level cap when there's no effective way to gain xp after you finish all the quests and contracts? Just wanted to know if anyone else can relate or if I'm just alone out here in a vast sea of depression. What're your thoughts?
  6. Well, I'm in need of a low profile CPU cooler. I immediately thought of the Cooler Master GeminII M4. Then I thought of the Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP. The GeminII is cheaper, but the LP is silent. Silent is nice, but the extra $25 can easily buy me a Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 fan to put on the GeminII. What really matters though, is what would be better. I have a Pentium G3258 that I'll be overclocking to 4.4 Ghz @ 1.3v in a Silverstone SG05BB-LITE case on a Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI board. The Silverstone 600W SFX PSU that I'll use and the ODD/SSD/HDD mount will block the cooler from above, but at least I'll have a Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 fan pull in about 40 CFM. Which would do the job better or would they just perform similarly?
  7. So, I've put a solid 60 hours in MGSV and I'm apparently only 35% done. It's probably because I spend my time finding anything and everything to Fulton Extract up, but while browsing in the iDroid menu, I found this thing called Espionage Rank. Not sure what it is. Can't find anything through the first 4 pages of Google, so that's hopeless. I was wondering if anyone knew what is was or what it was supposed to measure. So does anyone know?
  8. I did already. Restart my PC maybe? Alright, it's downloading. Had to restart it by going Offline and then back Online. Thanks.
  9. Last I heard, the download was supposed to be available for download 9 minutes ago. There's no option in Steam for me to download. Anyone else experiencing this?
  10. What CPU are you using? You can definitely handle the GTX 980 though regardless.
  11. NZXT Kraken X61. Just put the fans in a push config and you'll never see the black and white fans. Or you could just get a couple Aerocool DS 140s in black and red to make it match.
  12. Yeah, I'd go with the Lumia. I've had decent experiences before on Microsoft phones.
  13. A plane? You can afford a plane, but not a Zenfone 2? Times are dark indeed.
  14. How do you do this? I have a 4460 in a second rig with a ASRock Z97M OC Formula. Terrible BIOS. Can't find shit on it, but apparently it's supposed to be good to OC on. Is it as simple as modifying the multiplier? Heard you can overclock Xeons this way.
  15. Alright, I just backhanded the chassis, hurt my hand terribly, and the drive started working. Wtf. There goes 30 minutes of my life. Thanks be to Base God. Now is there a way to take down this damn post or should I just mark it solved to share my brilliance with the world?
