  1. Because I started to notice bad framerate in intensive fights and some parts of the game, also most of my friends don't have this problem even with older GPU's, started a thread and most people suggested that it was CPU related, tried the same GPU but with an i5 6600k not OC'd and I confirmed it was the CPU
  2. I discovered recently that my i7 non-k is holding me back in PUBG bottlenecking my gtx 1080 I have read that other people with same processor but 'K' version are not having problems, I tried to OC my i7 long ago but failed miserably, today I need to do it yes or yes, I have read people been able to OC non-k chips I already tried some stuff but I'm noob so I need your help I already tried this: which ends with blue screen and also tried the OC button in the bios EZ mode in that mode the PC don't even boot some of you might think: just buy a new chip! that one is old AF, but first I don't have the money and second its only in PUBG where I'm having problems
  3. what about Overclocking the cpu with that PSU? I'm doing all of this for PUBG, getting bad frames with the 2600 non-k
  4. Oh, those are leftovers from a kit of sleeved cables that I bought long ago for my RM1000, so I used the rest for that build and bought an extension for the 24 pin cable since that one is not modular, also the kit comes without the 24pin cable
  5. I was like what?, I only saw a 24 pin cable from that PSU off-topic: I won't have any problems with that 550w for that gpu and cpu? is an i5 6600k
  6. I think you're confused about the CPU cable, that's already connected into the Mobo and PSU as shown here: I was not planning to use that PC for gaming so didin't needed a fancy PSU, but my i7 2600 non-k is outdated now, and I'm planning to use that system for gaming now
  7. I checked but that motherboard uses a 4+4 pin CPU cable
  8. Wait. I double checked that nasty looking cable, its exactly the same as the white one, 4+4 in one end and two 6+2 in the other end, I can't connect that one in the PSU without unpluggin the CPU cable
  9. GPU Connected This is the other end of the cable but its 8 pin connector this is the PSU
  10. I'm using one with two antennas because the router is right behind the wall of my room, but you should get one with 3 antennas, like this one https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Wireless-PCI-Express-Adapter-TL-WDN4800/dp/B007GMPZ0A/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1519234643&sr=8-2&keywords=tp+link+pcie+wifi+card&dpID=41vRWKnu67L&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch as tt2468 said, those USB wifi dongles are very bad for gaming, even for basic web browsing
  11. it looks like this when you connect them, the ports are behind
  12. So I purchased this Huawei B593u-12 on December last year, I use it as my backup internet since where I live my main ISP is very bad and sometimes I need a faster connection to work or either play games (low ping) Out of the box it displays 2 bars of signal I noticed that if I place it in a specific position it will raise another bar but often loses it so its 2 or 3 bars most of the time I want an external antenna to see if I can get more than 3 bars (solid) I have been looking on eBay but the most common are those cheap antennas like this one supposedly those offer 35dBi but people say those Don't Work (on YouTube and Amazon reviews) Anyone knows about this stuff? I'm looking for something affordable since the hotspot itself cost was below $70 the antenna connection Must be SMA Male PS: I've seen some expensive antennas are like 9dBi, does this mean less is better? or I should be looking for high dBi
  13. My father and I been using the grey labeled version of this PSU since June 2016 and its great daily use of 8 hours. I'm not sure which of the two versions we got but I love that thing, specially for budget builds the semi-modular feature is blessing, he's using stock cables I'm using a white sleeved kit
  14. I ended buying this instead: will get what you recommended in the future when I get more money
  15. Hi, this are: 2 of these: https://imgur.com/Z0JhmOB SM-415A both are self amplified with this layout on each one: https://prnt.sc/i3nuh1 and a pair of these:
  16. Hi there, I have 3 individual speakers, their output is RCA they dont need amplifier each one has its own amplifier What would be the best way to connect them in my PC? I was thinking about getting this: https://www.amazon.com/CablesOnline-Female-Stereo-Splitter-AV-Y01F3/dp/B00ENUOMKW/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1516469540&sr=1-3&keywords=3.5+mm+splitter+3+way using RCA cables to 3.5mm I want them to sound at the same time, so I would just plug all of them in the green jack of the motherboard, but I was asking myself if there's a better solution for this one more classy or efficient I don't know What do you think?
  17. Hi, I overclocked my GPU I want an aggressive fan curve for when its hot, but I don't want to lose the function of fans not spinning when is not needed, with the fan curve attached they will spin all the time and I don't want that can some one help me? I just don't know what are the acceptable temps for the fans to be at 0% and when they should start spinning
  18. I turned on my PC today and looks like the profile its saved but is not using it http://prntscr.com/hn3744 any recommendations to OC using MSI afterburner? or a guide I can use?
