  1. Hey just wanting to make sure my motherboard isn't being damaged the way it's currently installed. In the photo you can see how it bends near the screws. It's been like this for months now so I hope this won't cause any serious issues.
  2. Hey guys, noob here I was having trouble with my computer randomly shutting off, so I decided to take the thing apart and reexamine everything.. Now to give some context, my h100i wasn't making proper contact with my CPU so I used metal washers to prop up the backplate. Well after examining the back of the motherboard I saw some white discoloration over some parts of the circuitry near and around the washers so yeah… stupid me What I'm wondering is will this affect the RAM or CPU? Everything can still be returned so I want to make sure I didn't f anything up besides the MOBO
  3. I'm not sure what that is.. the only thing that I've done related to the RAM is under clock it for a test. I'm wary of turning on my PC again cause I've crashed it so much and I don't want to damage components
  4. Hey guys, Here's the original post for the issues I'm having: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/268212-pc-randomly-crashing-n00b/ So for a list of things I've tried *replaced PSU *double checked all connections *unplugged reset sw to make sure it wasn't shorted out *reseated RAM *unplugged GPU Still having random crashes 30 seconds into use without BSOD.. Could really use some advice here Thanks
  5. thanks man.. Once again really appreciate all the help
  6. Alright.. at this point I don't see any other option…
  7. reseated all power cords on the motherboard but still no luck.. Will this continual crashing affect my system longterm? Btw, thank you so much for sticking with my case this long.
  8. I can make it to bios but after a while it crashes there too. It does seem like this is related to the power supply because I don't get BSOD and when it crashes everything dies suddenly like I yanked the power cord out.
  9. **UPDATE** So after trying to open HWmonitor the computer crashed again D:< this is tripping me out
  10. Ok so I set the ram frequency to 1066 and the computer hasn't crashed after 5 min of running. It doesn't make sense because I ran it at full 1866 for a month without problems but after some repairs it stops working? Also the manual says the motherboard is compatible with 3000 mhz over clocked ram
