  1. Before you bully me... I know it's razer. I just got my new monitor and it will randomly dim, almost like auto brightness. The monitor is at stock settings and I cannot find an option for auto brightness. It only seems to happen in HDR and when HDR is turned off the monitor looks like it has a dulled filter over it so I do not want to use it without HDR. Any ideas why this is happening? I am using a 3070 with drivers 466.11 and a DP cable
  2. I cannot say, I will sway towards the MSI since i haven't had any issues but i haven't used an alienware before
  3. If i was in your shoes i would of gone for a dell xps. The only difference between the two is the 1050ti compared to a 1060. I think it isn't to big of a deal when you look at the screen and think "oh shit, I'm hard"
  4. I carry a MSI GT72VR. This is a fatter laptop but i think that it is worth it. It is quieter and the battery is better due to it
  5. i install the beta driver that enabled freesync between 30hz and 146hz. now all the tearing has gone, i never knew that monitor drivers were a thing
  6. in csgo i put in console "fps_max 144"
  7. freesync just sounds pointless then
  8. so limted my fps to 144, i tried that in CSGO but i still got stuttering
  9. i tried gmod and battlefield. Garrys mod had tearing and battlefield rarely went above 70
  10. but if i am within the monitor's limt why would it tear
