  1. Honestly I would of probably gone for the 5600x3D but that is not available in NZ unfortunately. None of the 5700X3D or 5800X3D are currently on sale, so maybe I just wait for that to happen and pick one up then, depending on prices ofc.
  2. The 5700x3D here is $468NZD and the 5800x3D is $548NZD, a bit unsure on the 5700x3D because of the clock speed, from my knowledge in tarkov having a higher clock speed boosts fps, maybe the 3D cache just makes enough difference on its own?
  3. Yeah well this X370 1st gen Ryzen mobo has done very well for the seven years I have had it, Tarkov seems to really like the 3d cache so I think for my budget atm I will probably just get the 5800x3D and maybe 1-2 years from now upgrade to a new platform idk.
  4. Hey all, currently unsure if I should upgrade just my CPU to 5800x3D on my mobo, or to just go 7th gen ryzen with a new mobo and DDR5 ram. Specs: Asus Crosshair 6 Hero Ryzen 7 3700x GSkill trident Z Neo 4x16gb @3200MHz So I am wanting to get into tarkov again, my current system struggles now at 1440p in which I have actually quit as it has become so laggy and just plain unplayable. So my predicament is pay $600 for a 5800x3d as that is compatible with my 1st gen ryzen mobo and hope it gives enough performance? Or for the same price get a 7800x3d but pay additional for a mobo and ram, which motherboards at least are not cheap at all. The CPU's here in NZ anyway are pretty much identical, so it is worth spending $600 for a cpu now or do I wait a bit and get the 7800x3d with mobo and ram, currently would not be able to afford all the 7th gen parts as the mobo and ram are not cheapest here. Last note is I am not 100% sure if the 5800x3d will even make much of a difference over my 3700x. Thoughts?
  5. I will give this a decent try over the course of today at 3200MHz and will give an update to see if it was fine or not, but yeah thank you Tyler for all the help!
  6. So being at 2666MHz it hasn't crashed yet so maybe try 3200MHz?
  7. It has defaulted to 2666MHz, gonna run the game and see if it happens again.
  8. I turned DOCP off and have it at 3600MHz, tried the game and it still happened but instead of a unity error it was it was not responding.
  9. I made sure to get the exact same speed kit as my previous.
  10. Here is the picture from in the bios
  11. I do have a docp I think it's called profile in the bios I had it for the 2x16gb kits for the last year and a bit and had no issues, but I will go into the bios and take a picture of it, maybe it is setting the timings or something to high with the 4 sticks now?
  12. Sure my MB is ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO | Motherboards | ROG United States (asus.com) CPU - Ryzen 3700x - AMD Ryzen™ 7 3700X Drivers & Support | AMD
  13. Hey it is easier to just link to gskill website but it is this F4-3600C18D-32GTZN - Overview - G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd. (gskill.com) 4 of the 16gb sticks. Also yes, Tarkov at times can be such a ram resource hog.
  14. Also this is the other error when it crashed
  15. Hello all, I have been trying to troubleshoot this for over 7 hours, I recently got 32gb more ram to make it now 64gb and decided to try win11 for the first time, now all of the time I keep getting errors with games especially Escape From Tarkov, I am at the point of just uninstalling that game and idk, just have no idea what to do now. Any ideas on what I can do?
  16. Update: ram both memtest for each module on its own and both passed with flying colours, no idea now what is happening??? Does memtest fix anything or is it purely a scanning software?
  17. Hey all: So I have been having blue screens and game crashes for about 1 year now, between 1-4 crashes a day. I have been trying to find out what is going on. What I have: I have a Ryzen 7 1700 and 2x8GB GSKILL Trident Z @3200MHz. Things I have done: /sfc scan. Window Memory Diagnostic. trying different ram sticks. Not having XMP on. Ran a Memtest. All the tests were fine apart from Memtest which fail the test with test 7 Apart from that I have honestly no idea what to do, during writing this post I had 4 blue screens!!
  18. That sounds awesome, I cannot find those particular monitors are you able to provide a link please?
  19. That actually sounds really good, I did check the reviews out which was 50/50 for 1 star and 5 star, apparently after 3months to a year it has overheating problems and weird lines.
  20. Hello all, I have been looking for a new monitor for the last few months and I need some help. OK so for over 8 years I have been using this: https://www.asus.com/Monitors/VX238H/ which still works fine and such but of course over time you would want to upgrade, so I will try explain everything that I am looking for and hopefully be able to find something OK my basis is to have a slightly bigger screen that has a fast response time and also the stunning colours, TN panels are meh and am wanting something a bit more vibrant especially with how much it costs.. Now I do know that there are not many if any IPS screens boasting 1ms times, but even a VA panel would be better. Must have: 2560x1440 Res 120hz + 1ms Response Time VA or IPS Panel Possibly 10Bit colour. 27-28" Money isn't really an issue but if you can find one under $600USD then that would be great!! Thanks guys!!!
  21. Hello all, I recently bought a hue 2 starter kit with 2 140mm fans, and after installing that and using CAM, I see that there is four audio modes. I understand the bass and am not sure about sync, gain & level. I haven't found any posts about it so I thought I would ask here!! If I could get some insight on this, I would appreciate it!! Cheers
