  1. I'm just having a hard time justifying getting the 4690k when I can get the 4790k for a little over 100 bucks more.
  2. I'm using it to do video editing not just gaming
  3. I have windows 7 home premium that was used to upgrade from vista on my old pc

  5. I cant buy everything from an online retailer unfortunitly as I live in a rural area and I planned on ordering everything loacally and picking it up so sales online I usually just ignore as I probably wont be able to tak advantage of them, but I am considering buying the intel then upgrading to an i7 when needed but the cost of the 4690k $299 is not that far off the 4770k that is $369. I forgot to mention I live in canada I dont know if that will effect prices.
  6. I have decided to stick with the 8350 I can allways up grade later Parts I picked thank you to everyone who replied but the 8350 allows me to get a better GPU in my budget
  7. I am building a gaming pc in the near future and I have a budget of about $1000 - $1200 I was originally going for a AMD FX-8350 but everyone keeps telling me its going to do horrible in games and its going to cost me like 30 fps and that I should get the intel 4770k instead. I am going to be doing gaming and video editing on the PC so keep that in mind, thanks in advanced to anyone who helps.
