  1. Hey guys, I'm having a tough time finding a laptop. My ideal specs would be: 1. Screen: IPS, touch, 72% NTSC or better colour gamut, 300nits, 14" or larger 2. Upgradable RAM or 16gb. 3. Great sounding speakers. 4. Ryzen 5+ 5. Numpad The first 3 are the most important to me. I watch videos and have tons of tabs open to do some work. I've tried and returned Lenovo Thinkbook 15(terrible washed out colours due to 45% ntsc and the light bleed), Thinkpad T14 gen 2(ghosting of their 72% ntsc low power screen, also no touchscreen). Any recommendations?
  2. Thats just not practical for me, I'd need to keep switching the size of the arrow if I need to use a pc. What I'm looking for is using pc normally, and when watching youtube/netflix control it with my ps4 controller. I'm not even sure something like that is possible.
  3. I have a pc in my room. When I watch a youtube or netflix I want to lay down on my bed. But then if I want to switch to another video I have to walk back to the pc and use my mouse. I tried using my ps4 controller via Bluetooth as a mouse but its not practical because the arrow is too tiny to see. Is there a better/simpler way of watching youtube/netflix and be able to remotely turn off the pc?
  4. What should I get then? Which one of these is better? As I mentioned both psus are under tier 2 list, I don't know anything else. Both seem to be quiet as far as I can tell. Newegg reviews show more people having a Rosewill capstone unit that failed within 2 month.
  5. I'm having a hard time deciding between EVGA B2 and Rosewill Capstone($10 more because of shipping). Both are under tier 2 list. Does anyone know which of these companies offer better warranty in Canada? Also what brands are generally best to get in Canada?
  6. Does anyone know what would be better, i5-3570k or i7-2600 non k? Assuming both cost the same, and I already got z77 mobo.
  7. Thanks guys. The guy is asking for offer for the cpu mobo combo. Any idea how much they are worth?
  8. Just any late games like Hellblade, Wolfenstein, Witcher 4, CoD, AC origins. Any recommendations on psu? I'm looking for around 600w (cuz I got another gtx 1070 in another pc, might sli if I get 1440p monitor)
  9. Hey guys, I got a spare gtx 1070 laying around with basically no use, was thinking about building a pc for it. I found a guy selling i5 3570+DZ75ML-45k combo with corsair TX 600 psu. What would be reasonable price to ask for this combo? (I'm from Canada)
  10. Found i7-2600+z77-D3H combo for 80cad. Do you guys think its worth it? I got a spare gtx 1070 laying around, was thinking to build me a cheap pc. I also got amd a10 5800k on my parent's pc, would i7 2600 be a significant upgrade?
  11. Do you know if seasonic m12ii would be better than s12g?
  12. Thanks, but that's way out of my league. Was hoping to get something around $90-100 canadian
  13. Thanks! That's a good point. If pci-e dies it'd be worthless. Btw do you know of any quiet PSUs? I remember buying evga supernova g1, which kept making chirping sounds.
