  1. You're welcome, it looks absolute beautiful with the tempered glass, could you mark it as solved and give me a thumbs up so I get points on the form? This is the first time I've solved someone's else problem here that well and fast. Thanks!
  2. I said that one was too expensive, I'm looking for a cheaper one.
  3. I bought this one amazon specifically for the same reason you did: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BTBVV5Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It works wonders and actually makes my 55 inch samsung tv (non curved though) look a lot more expensive than it is, I currently have a Klipsch RP-250C Center Channel Speaker underneath it which is a 5 inch speaker and I still only have the tv at it's medium height on the stand, it could be even higher.
  4. So I just ended up deciding to get the Samsung CHG70 Series Curved 32-Inch QHD Gaming Monitor, since I have a 32 inch lg monitor, ya know the 200 dollar one sitting right next to my asus 27 inch 144hz monitor and it just looks like if only I could game on a 32 inch monitor it would be so much nicer. But anyways that's besides the point, I'm looking for a monitor stand for the 32 inch samsung chg70 monitor and possibly all the other monitors too, I currently have 3 monitors and will have 4 after this, 2 32 inch ones and 2 27 inch ones. I want a solution to use all 4 I have 3 desks in an L shape, 2 of them are small desks which extend, I'll attach a picture for reference. I was looking at the Amazon Basics one, but found it too expensive to get 2 for the 32 inch monitors and 1 dual one for the two 27 inch ones, and besides I wouldn't want that because I'd want one of the monitors mounted above my center monitor. My goal is the find the cheapest one that attaches to my desk via grip like the amazon basics one and provides the height I need. Is there a cheaper monitor stand with similar functionality? I need height but I don't feel like paying 100 dollars for a monitor stand. Also my other question is, since I don't see any mounting holes on the back of the picture of the samsung chg70 32 inch, can it even be mounted? Is there just like a cover I have to remove?
  5. Ya but it's going to be over twice the price of the CHG70 32inch monitor ($650), and all ur getting for double your money is a wider screen, and gsync really. A gtx 1080 won't do 200hz at that resolution on max settings with no AA. And I'm not about to drop 2 grand on a monitor and a new gpu when the 1180 comes out.
  6. Ya I was looking at ultrawides but I was dissappointed because all of them seem to only have the height of a 24 inch monitor, which just simply won't cut it for me. It would almost seem like I'm side-grading, not upgrading or downgrading. What evidence do you have of cooler ones coming out though? And what will they look like?
  7. So I currently have 3 monitors, an lg 32 inch, and hp 27 inch, and my main gaming monitor the ASUS VG278HV (27 inch). I have a gtx 1080 and an i7 6800k. What I want is the get the Samsung CHG70 Series Curved 32-Inch QHD Gaming Monitor (C32HG70). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XT6WQCJ/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_13?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2YLYLTN75J8LR I have plenty enough money to afford it. The reasons I want it is because of the larger 32 inch screen, higher resolution, same 144hz and 1ms response time, and the better color reproduction along with HDR, when, some day, HDR works with Windows. I was wondering that with the uptick in way better monitors coming out every year for the past couple of years if I should wait for the 2018 monitors which might have HDR10/Dolby vision and a 40 inch variant, or possibly an OLED 32 or 40 inch monitor. Does anyone have an educated guess of whether an OLED or HDR10 or 40 inch variant will come out in 2018? If not then I might as well buy this one, if yes then I want to wait. P.S. I kind of have a hole burning in my pocket too, I have over 3 grand saved up and I normally only keep a 2 grand buffer, so I want to get something.
  8. Can I damage my receiver if I plug into the headphone jack an extension cord and accidentally play audio through it without first plugging in my headphones as well? I accidentally forgot to plug in my headphones when navigating the ps4 menu, and left just the extension cable plugged in with no headphones attached at the end. Probably a silly question, but I just want to be sure for peace of mind, if it's bad for my receiver. I have a denon 4300h, so I really don't want to damage it whatsoever.
  9. I have them and they're extremely light, they don't feel any heavier than other earbuds. They're comfortable too imo. And the open back makes the sound stage sound similar to (not as good) as my sennheiser HD 700s.
  10. Get an audioquest dragonfly, it will sound better than your current dac too.
  11. surround is built into the game engine's system, the 7.1 surround is a useless and makes things sound worse on headphones, the only reason it exists is for marketing purposes. You have 2 drivers, left and right, the .1 means subwoofer and the 7 means 7 drivers, headphones don't have that. The best you can do is get open back headphones which usually have a much wider sound stage and sound better imo.
  12. You should add the Audeze iSINE 20 to the list of IEMs they sound better than the Shure SE846 imo.
  13. Well it's 1099 most places, it's 1499 retail, and it's 799 on sale. Plus reviews say this is a great receiver.
  14. I updated it to include another receiver and my new wattage needs.
  15. Well if I ever want to add the ceiling speakers, it's worth it having those extra channels for dolby atmos and dts:x isn't it? I already have a 7.1 setup. I can't find ANY 9.2 channel receiver for 799 besides that one right now, since it just went on sale, it's normally 1499.
  16. Does the Denon 4300H support these? HDMI: 3D / 4K / CEC / ARC / InstaPrevue Enhanced Audio Return Channel HLG / Dolby Vision On their website it doesn't specify whether or not they do, and it's on sale for $799 right now, so it's cheaper than the 3400H which is $999 and it has 125 watts per channel instead of 3400H's 105 watts per channel. Also will the 4300H work with Amazon Alexa?
  17. I have 2 amazon Alexa and a google home. So that means I should probably wait right? Also what dedicated amplifiers would you recommend?
  18. Alright so I should wait until August when that Denon is released?
  19. Specifically I'm asking about the quality of the DACs and Amplifiers in these receivers, and which are better.
  20. I'm currently looking at 4 different home theater receivers by Denon, Onkyo, and Yamaha. I need to have, at a minimum, 100 watts per channel and at least 7.2 channels. I need 4k HDR and importantly Dolby Vision compatibility. Update: I have 3 speakers that are 125 watts each. ---Specifically I'm asking about the quality of the DACs and Amplifiers in these receivers, and extra features.--- These are the 3 models: Priced at 600 dollars on amazon: Onkyo TX-NR777 (recently released) https://www.onkyousa.com/Products/model.php?m=TX-NR777&class=Receiver&source=prodClass Priced at 1000 dollars MSRP: Denon AVR-X3400H https://usa.denon.com/us/product/hometheater/receivers/avrx3400h Priced at 900 dollars on Amazon: Yamaha RX-A870 (recently released) https://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio_visual/av_receivers_amps/rx-a870_u/specs.html#product-tabs On sale for 899 on amazon: Denon AVR-X4300H https://usa.denon.com/us/product/hometheater/receivers/avrx4300h They all seem to have the specs I want, but I'm trying to decide between the 3. By the way, this is my current home theater set up for reference. I have (1) Klipsch RP-250C Center Channel Speaker, (3 pairs) Klipsch RB-51 II Black, (1) Klipsch R-10SW Reference powered subwoofer, (1) MartinLogan Dynamo 300 Home Theater and Stereo Subwoofer. ---Also does anyone know if or what the probability of any of these being upgradable to HDMI 2.1 next year is possible via firmware update?---
  21. Ya, and also should I get the Klipsch RP-260F Reference Premiere Floorstanding Speakers or the Klipsch Reference RP-280F Premiere Surround Floorstanding Home Speaker, I'm thinking the smaller woofer so it has better midbass since the bass will be covered by the subwoofer isn't it? And should I get a 10 inch or a 12 inch or a 15 inch subwoofer, I care about quality not loudness in bass, but loudness is nice, would like to have both, can I do a 7.2 channel system with one 10 inch subwoofer and one 15 inch subwoofer? And yes what do you recommend for the whole set up, I really like onkyo and klipsch keep that in mind, but if you have other brand suggestions let me know the model and explain how it's different than klipsch or onkyo (receiver).
  22. Ya why would I want dolby atmos and all of the speakers.
