  1. I never thought that you could do that, sooo if i get TP-Link 1200 Mbps do you think that it would be better than wifi?
  2. I dont think my flatmates would like a long cable going from my door through the corridor and through the whole kitchen. Wireless sucks but i just have to live with it and make it work the best way possible
  3. So i cant have wired internet because im living in this student flat and the router is in the kitchen. Which isnt that far from my room but there are like 3 walls in between. I bought this "TP-LINK TL-WR802N" and i thought it would be fine but im getting ms spikes all the time. I think that im going to get a PCIe wireless card but which one should i get?
  4. I have windows 10 i havent really installed anything except from steam games. I ran malwarebytes before and all it found was ccleaner so i deleted it cuz i heard that there was something dodgy going on. I dont know what is eating up my ram. Right now i have 80% RAM usage but if i add up everything in task manager its deffo below 3GB. (I have 8GB btw)
  5. Hi, so this problem started yesterday where my memory was at 90%-99% usage when i wasnt doing anything. In task manager it didnt show what is taking up so much memory. I restarted the PC and it was fine until today where the same thing happened, but this time when i restarted my PC, the CPU and Memory where at 99% and then i got a blue screen "dxgmms2.sys failed". Anyone knows what could be causing this?
  6. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dHy2TH My budget shouldn't exceed $1000 Thanks
  7. 144Hz is the way to go, once you see the difference you will never want to go back.
  8. Anyone else could help? Just bought a different power supply. Corsair CX550M
  9. I used to use 1600MHz ddr3 vengeance ram with it so i think so. Also the fans sometimes slowed down like there wasn't enough power. I'll replace the power supply and see if that works.
  10. I had a spare motherboard, gpu and cpu. So i bought a powersupply, some RAM and a case. I have some gigabyte am3+ motherboard. fx 4170 cpu and a HD 7770 I bought this powersupply - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JKVHKSU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And this RAM - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008CP5QF4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 When i plug everything in and turn the computer on, the fans start spinning on the cpu and gpu but I get nothing on the screen. I just bought a new cpu to check if that might be the problem but to me it seems like any component could be broken.
  11. Thank you so much it worked!
  12. Dhcp range is from 2-255 and i made the address have 12 at the end. MTU value is at 1500 and i dont know how to put it on dns by google.
  13. Hi, so im trying to connect my printer to my wifi but i cant because it says "Ip address check failed Incorrect IP address is assigned to the printer. Confirm IP address setup of the network device (hub, router, or access point). Contact your network administrator for assistance." I've used this website http://www.epson.ru/es/upload/ManualTypes/102126/panel/g_html/external/manual_e01.htm and the solution they gave me didnt work Check whether or not the DHCP function for the access point is enabled. If it is disabled, change it to enabled. If you have set the IP address manually, the IP address is outside the supported range (invalid). Enter the correct IP address. DHCP is on, i also tried assigning an ip manually but that didn't work it just keeps on coming up with the same error. Please someone help because im getting really frustrated. Been trying to fix this for 2h.
  14. My SSD was working fine for a couple of months but a couple of days ago it just "disconnected" and its not appearing in my computer and all of my files are gone. Could it be the SATA cable or the SSD broke?
