  1. I'm trying to install Win 8 via the Sata DVD drive with a standard USB keyboard and mouse in the USB 2.0 ports. While I am in BIOS, both function properly, as soon as I exit BIOS and get past the "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD" the keyboard and mouse shut off when it gets to the Windows 8 Setup screen. I have tried unplugging the KB & M while on that screen, plug them to another port, tried it another keyboard and mouse. It's like the USB controller dies post-BIOS. I even went as far as plugging in my SSD from my other PC and Win10 boots up, but something, KB and M do not work. Any suggestions?
  2. Okay so as most of you suggested I pulled the graphics card out and tried from the onboard graphics. Same results. I even took all the RAM out and just used on 4GB stick. The CPU_LED indicator still turns on, fans spin at full speed, and no video. Trying to feel the water block to see if it gets warm, but not noticeable as I only leave it for less than 2 minutes.
  3. Okay so most of you are saying to check my video card, I'm going to test it out and see what happens when I plug it into the built in board.. In the mean time, may I ask. If it is the video card, why would it show as a CPU error on the LED on the mobo instead of VGA LED? Here's an image of how it looks like on the board.
  4. Last night I put my PC to Sleep after playing some BF4 and WoW. Today I tried to Wake it the same way I normally do, by clicking my mouse, however this time the computer itself looked like it was waking, but then I got no video on my monitor. I powered it off and upon powering it back on I noticed on the Q LED's that the CPU_LED was on. The Q_Code LED on the board shows 00 which indicates no issue with anything else. After researching online I tried the following things. Reseat the CPU (Checked pins, everything is ok) Reapplied thermal and secured screws around cooler (not too tight and not too soft as some said that maybe cause problems if it's not balanced) Reseated and rearranged RAM Updated BIOS via the BIOS Flashback feature on the board (Plugged USB in with latest drivers (Version 1603) Pressed the Clear CMOS button. Unplugged power cord and took out Mobo battery then waited an hour. Checked both PSU cables that go to Mobo Not sure what else I could try before I contact Asus/Intel to send it in. I don't have a spare CPU or Mobo to try and this build is about a year old now. Suggestions? My specs: Intel i5 4670k (using the automatic OC feature built on the mobo.) 5. According to a freeze frame from the Linus video @ Pax, it's going for $149.99 USD so that'll place it $20 cheaper than the K70.
  6. So the K70 RGB in Reds is launching/shipping pre-orders today. The Browns and Blues will follow sometime later I assume. Now that we know about the K65 RGB from PAX, any word on when it'll be up on Best Buy's website to order or purchase?
  7. Are you talking about this video? I noticed that around 16:40-50 when he's behind the monitors on the keyboard the FN seems to be lit, but that Del key on the numpad looks off. Then on the pan shots both keys are dead. O_o Gonna have to ask Linus man himself about that.
  8. And now Razer is launching their own RGB line next month, called Chroma. http://www.razerzone.com/chroma My first mech was a Blackwidow, then I bought a Poker II, but I love the bezeless design of the K70. Looks nice.
  9. Bingo, I've got 2 set ups I'm interested in implementing this. One for MMORPGs and another for FPS.
  10. So where are we standing in terms of a release date? We're about to be halfway through the month and not one word from Corsair about this matter aside from this post.
