  1. I recently bought the LG 34UC97 monitor for my computer. I am currently running a single GTX 780. I want to game in full resolution on high settings but games like GTA V only run decently if I turn the settings way down. Should I be looking at upgrading my 780 to the 980Ti or one of the new AMD 300 series cards? Or should I wait for the next generation of graphics cards. I do not want to SLI as its is too hot and loud for my liking. Any information would be helpful. Thanks,
  2. Do you think that the ducky shine 4 is a good keyboard? I can't seem to find too many reviews on it.
  3. Hi, I ordered my Corsair K70 RGB with Blue Switches in late September after waiting a year for them to be released. Upon recieving the keyboard (which was my first mechanical), I was extremely happy with the quality. However, as you may know, the K70's with the blue switches have some issues with mushiness over time, so much so that Corsair has discontinued them. I am currently seeking for a new replacement for this keyboard as my keys have become hard to press. Would anyone have any recommendations to a replacement? I like lights and flashy features of keyboards. Thank you!
  4. So I just bought 16 more GB of ram thinking that it would solve the problem. I was wrong (this is with After Effects running in the background)
  5. Here. Is my modified ram supposed to be that high?
  6. Hope this helps. ALso, I've figured out a way to dwindle down the memory from the Corsair Cue Software.
  7. Thanks for the advice. From the picture, could you tell that the processes were acting abnormal (is something like Chrome using up way more memory than it should)?
  8. How would I go about cleaning it up? With a program?
  9. I have a computer with 16 GB of ram (http://www.ramexperts.com/corsair-cmy16gx3m2a2400c11a-vengeance-pro-gold-16gb-2x8gb-240p-ddr3-2400mhz-ram.html?gclid=CMWMtv3v2MICFYhbfgodbyIA1w). On most days, I usually have only Chrome and Steam as open. However, this still results in around 13 gb of ram being used. Is this normal? Everytime I play a game (such as FC4) or open a ram intensive program (such as After Effects), I get warnings to save my stuff and quit. Should I upgrade to 32 gb of ram? Any help would be appreciated. Attached are screenshots of my resource manager
  10. @Faceman Is there any benefits for keeping on the mid plate? I was just wondering because all my parts get here tomorrow, but the copper shim will take a couple of weeks.
  11. @Faceman Do I absolutely need the copper shim? From what I have read, most people do not use it (although it probably is different when dealing with the EVGA version of the 780).
  12. @Faceman Wow! I did not expect that much information from you. You are the most helpful person I have ever run into on this site. Thanks for the advice; I will be buying all of the things you have recommended. If you could answer this one last question, please do. Should I purchase another G10 and cooler for my other card too? Money is not an issue, however I am concerned with the amount of radiators that would sit in my case as well as the actual performance gain of having a gpu cooler on the bottom card. The bottom card already runs quite cool; it idles at around 28 degrees and hits around 55 while gaming. Thanks again
  13. I am planning on purchasing a Kraken G10 for my build as the top card in my SLI configuration runs quite hot and noisy. It is a EVGA Gtx 780 w/ ACX. I have never done any sort of water cooling before (I run a Phanteks ph-pc14pe on my cpu). I have a couple of questions. 1. What AIO liquid cooler should I get? I looking at the Kraken X41. My case is the NZXT H440. 2. Do I need VRM/VRAM heatsinks on the GPU? I read in many places that the G10 does not provide adequate cooling for the VRM. Will I need it on my 780? 3. Where should I mount the radiator? Should I put it in the front intake or should I put it in the back/top exhaust? Thank you for reading. I would appreciate any type of support possible.
  14. I just built my computer around three months ago. I purchased the parts thinking that I wouldn't need to upgrade them in a very long time. Yesterday, however, I noticed that the GTX 780 was on sale so I decided to buy another one. My only issue is that my power supply (Corsair HX750) may not be capable of running 780's in SLI with all of the other parts. Here are the parts in my computer http://pcpartpicker.com/user/crakedapple/saved/. Should I buy another power supply or will my current one be good enough? I am concerned particularly because I am running 10 fans and the NZXT Hue. Thank you for your time.
