  1. No contest, the Intel is the more powerful system. Better GPU and better CPU. As other people mentioned, if you are just gaming with it you can probably get away with a i5 instead of an i7.
  2. Thanks for the advice. Currently I have an EVGA 750W 80+ Gold power supply, I have a 4960k overclocked to about 4GHz right now.
  3. So based on some suggestions from the forum, I was thinking that my newest video card would be a XFX R9 290. I went to check it out on their website and discovered that the minimum PSU required for this card is a 750W with the recommended being 850W! Are these guys just exaggerating or am I going to go power supply shopping?
  4. That was what I was leaning towards.
  5. It's a white and black build. I had the pictures of my rig posted in my original post (just spoilered to avoid clutter) but here they are again. http://i.imgur.com/e5nqzs0.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3KqAfA5.jpg
  6. Gaming primarily.
  7. So when I went out and built my rig in January I went with looks over performance. As a result I ended up pumping lots of cash into the a nice looking (and functional) case and motherboard and while I was still able to put a 4690k in it, I wasn't able to afford a new video card. Now that a few months have passed I am looking to finally get my video card but I want it to fit with my build aesthetic. So based on a few of the pics below, what video card would look best in my system? Preferably I'd like it to be a 970 / 290 or better, no real preference on AMD vs Nvidia. Note: Because I am focusing on looks, I am looking for specific cards. I know 290's and 970s are pretty much equal in performance but if there is a specific card that would look as sexy as hell in this rig I'd probably go for that one.
  8. 30 years old and married. Was around 19 when I had my first serious girlfriend. Don't worry, it'll happen if you try, just might take a while. Big thing for me was going off to University, change of scenery made a difference.
  9. And nothing of value was lost. I run OxygenOS on my Oneplus One. It's pretty good, no complaints, pretty much stock Lollipop but with a few extras that Cyanogen had in them.

  11. Not going to disagree with you on that one, but it still doesn't mean I'm going to get cheaper service any time soon.
  12. You can't really compare Scandinavian data plans to North American data plans; it's like comparing a ferrari to a go-kart. The pricing scheme Google is offering is very competitive for a North American market.
  13. One thing I really like about this is how simple the plan is. $20 base + $10/GB of data used. Also, no bullshit regarding carriers. Run down to The States for a weekend and you don't have to worry about being raked over the coals for data usage. Just to put these rates into perspective for my fellow Canadians (who can't use it but can hope to dream) here is how Google Fi stacks up against a Rogers BYOD plan. 1GB: Rogers - $65 / Google - $30 2GB: Rogers - $70 / Google - $40 4GB: Rogers - $90 / Google - $60
  14. This is probably just for the short term. It's their hardware, they know how it works and can guarantee the experience.
