  1. Mate, you're awesome. I'm adding you on my linustechtips friendlist for one... and i thank you for seriously offering up like 3 hours of your time seeing you started commenting at like 09:45 PM, while it is 12:33 PM atm in my timezone haha. AND you're getting the Mark Solved, for the canned air of dust / damp cloth comment. That is in the end the answer i was looking for, really LOL.
  2. Hehe, possibly.. they have been under quite some stress those 4 years haha. Green LEDS though, nothing special i suppose... though its extra extra:). NOAICE, my closet saved me. Best way to clean them correctly though? They probably have a big lé plaque of dust on them lol. Normally you would say air or just rub it off... anything specific though, perhaps to up some of its performance for re-usage
  3. This is all new gear, i'm on another pc right now (haven't tried).. But i edited the post above, could try those fans within it
  4. Yeah, it has 2x 120mm and 1x 140mm. Components are quite high end: -GPU : EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Dual Classified ACX Cooler -CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K - 4 Ghz PS: Fuck me, i remember having a case somewhere in my closet lol, it has like 4 green LED fans (gotta dust them out, been used for like 4 years though lol)
  5. dammit. Only if i knew something about those cable splitters and what ever you mentioned, i could have gotten what i need by tomorrow... i'm in a total pit of unknowing atm... Blegh. 5 degrees isn't much i suppose. I'll have to open up the case but I can see 1x 140mm and 1x 120mm fans, that would be enough? If not, theres probably a 120mm in the front aswell... will check that now brb..
  6. Sorry for the double post ~_~.... i'm going crazy here Now a mate of mine replied: Don't get any thing extra besides basic fans you already have because it'll be a hassle and you'll have to get transition pieces
  7. I ain't autistic, perhaps a bit... but its going to show at this point haha. Man thats some extra expense in the end, I don't want cheap ones on my 2,500-3000$ gear, and all the more expensive ones... are expensive lol. I'd be better off just buying the latest option i talked to you about i suppose? I'll just leave the bottom be (empty) don't want to give myself much of a headache (do have to order in time today) And the side... i'll add one noctua i suppose or leave it at NZXT, money wise, NZXT would be for free as i already have it... is it worth the extra 25 euro's? Lets not talk about my financial state, that would be fine.. Though don't say yes because thats a fact, if i could save money i would... but performance wise (it would be better, but by how much? Alot? I would definitely get another 140mm noctua for side then) Someone also said this on another forums: You have WAY more than enough fans. Adding more will not make anything better. (may even make airflow worse) I would ditch the side intake. and leave it at that. Side fans often hurt airflow more than they help I could leave the side be in that case?
  8. Yeah, dw, i love the great feedback;) How about this then: 2x 120mm E-loops in front 2x 140mm Noctua's on top 1x 120mm Eloops in rear PERHAPS 1x 140mm noctua on side (Also have the NZXT Basic fan, plus side is pretty much optional i think, also the bottom doesn't really matter right?) Would on a side note, also have a 120mm NZXT fan for bottom... though seems to me that intake would form more dust, and outtake would mess with the cold air flow thats coming in, and seeing colder air is always at the bottom? Leave that be? EDIT (lol): http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cooling-air-pressure-heatsink,3058-5.html What airflow would be best? Just intake (front) and outtake (top/rear) optional for side? or also intake at top? (though the outtake would only be one 120mm at rear
  9. Otherwise i should just go for some cheap LED fans or something o_O, i'd be done instantly (would that impact performance by much?) they seem to be uber cheap though EDIT: Those specs seem to be really cheap aswell yeah... Noctua's perhaps then lmao. I did find 140mm noctua's, could add 120mm noiseblockers Eloops on that (Would be a white/brown mix, as if there's poop on top) But it would work right? Lol
  10. And they are worse/better/the same as noctuas? Seeing the price isn't very much different. Also, the front could probably only hold 1x 140mm and 2x 120mm, what would perform better? Top = 2x 140 and.. rear.. i'm not good with cases but it seems it could only hold 1x 120mm and no 140mm lol, when i look at it, it seems as if components would be getting in the way then (motherboard/videocard) or something. Have to decide real quick though:( gotta have everything before saturday 1 o' clock in the afternoon, thats when i start my build . --Eloop however DO look way better with their white color (case is also white) EDIT: Perhaps you could link me some E-Loop noiseblockers 140mm, seeing i cannot find them on tweakers or anywhere else lol only 120mm's
  11. Saw a review on E-Loops, guess those will do it haha. Any recommendations? Not sure which types etc (140/120mm) Looking for like... 2x 140mm top, 1x 120mm rear and 2x 120mm front i suppose (if thats good & works out ofcourse).
  12. Would these do: Noctua NF-A14 PWM fans http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/334183/noctua-nf-a14-pwm-140mm.html Remaining, 120MM's i guess? They are expensive though... anything cheaper? LOL, does it really make a leap of performance difference?
  13. Yeah and seeing they are super expensive ( like WhatTheQuack said ) i'd probably go for the norm haha. Perhaps add top fans next to that, and thats it. I'll search for your recommendation. Also, if someone knows anyways, what noctua fans would be best, or same-kind-of-quality cheaper fans (pressure optimized ones preferably i guess, as stated above) Thanks guys:)
  14. Lol=) I suppose, though i still want it (eases my mind, spent lots already)... noctua (they seem to be pretty rated) Also found this, but i really need help haha (lots of them trustees on this site, i love it:D... and that response time ... LinusTechTips for the win), anyways back on topic: Rear: 1x120mm Top: 2x140mm (or 2x120mm) Front: 2x120mm OR 1x140mm Bottom: 1x120mm Side: 1x120mm OR 140mm So I read that the ideal setup would be intake front/bottom, exhaust top/rear, with side situational. This is what someone wrote on another forums.
  15. Hey guys, me again (Spam poster with lots of issues) =D SO i have the Phantom 410 Crafted mid Tower Chassis It came with... 1x 140 mm NZXT and 2x 120 mm NZXT fans i think, or only 1x 120 mm NZXT. Anyways, i don't want the standard fans. Seemingly noctua is really good.. How much noctua fans would i need (140 / 120 mm) to set up this computer case. I could be wrong having little to none experience, but i thought of this setup: 2x 120 mm front (air intake ) 2x 140 mm top ( air outtake ) 1x 120 mm back ( air outtake ) 1x 140 mm rear/side.. w/e ( air intake ) yeah, perhaps that is a little messed up, perhaps i need even fewer fans for it to work (Have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for CPU also).
