  1. I previously had an Asus NT66U which kept randomly rebooting itself and ultimately I gave up on it, returning to the default modem/router combo provided by my ISP. This worked until a few months ago where I'm having WiFi channels drop out somewhat frequently. Particularly having 2.4ghz drop out is a pain because I rely on that to send prints to my 3D printer, my Victron Cerbo also relies on 2.4ghz for communication. I don't really have a lot of requirements, above all else I just want reliability with decent bandwidth (1gbit is beyond what I have, but it's not inconceivable that I may have that in future). My budget is £200-250, I'm not that well acquainted with networking equipment so I hope my budget will net something half decent. Thanks!
  2. I don't know if I'm paranoid but it almost seems like it's when a device connects to it. For example it roughly restarted when I woke up from my phone alarm? The worst part is I'm now hosting a server on it and downtime due to this ridiculous problem isn't really acceptable.
  3. Apologies if this is the wrong place but I've been experiencing a problem that's quite frankly above my head. My router likes to reboot itself for seemingly no reason and the system log wipes itself during the reboot. I've searched concerning other people who have Asus routers that are rebooting to no avail, I did see someone who was told to disable hardware acceleration but I'm concerned that will harm performance. While I could replace the router I don't really want to spend more money and to be honest it handles everything fine other than this one sporadic issue. Thanks in advance, I've no clue how to diagnose this problem myself. -edit- I should have clarified that I have been through the settings and have ensured reboot scheduler is disabled, I have also tried flashing the firmware hasn't helped either.
  4. Duly noted I'm a lab technician and truthfully, most acids aren't that worrisome to me, especially citric which appears to have negligible (if not no) affects on my skin. Base solutions on the other hand, I'll give those a miss. I don't remember if I clarified, but this is purely to flush a new radiator, I wouldn't dream of exposing acrylic/tubing to isopropyl. Planning on running distilled water + EK-CryoFuel for its anti corrosion and biocidal properties.
  5. In hingsight, I completely forgot people use white vinegar, ideally distilled I would've thought. I have 1/4 of a bottle of vodka left, last ditch effort lol Never worked with Mayhem's blitz solution but I had read their description, I'm assuming it's citric acid as opposed to acetic (vinegar) because the smell is very obnoxious. Saw some people say their hands feel raw after their bottles leaked too, citric being an irritant is the best I can come to anyway.
  6. Been tossing up options for flushing my new radiator, mayhem blitz pro seems rather expensive for what it is. I'm considering to flush the radiator with 99% isopropyl first to remove water insoluble flux, then proceed with distilled. Just looking for opinions on whether this could be a poor idea for whatever reason - Regardless of whether it's a poor idea, I'd love to hear any suggestions or methods you guys use to flush your radiators. To clarify, this is the radiator I ordered: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-coolstream-pe-360-triple Thanks in advance.
  7. Pretty impressive, nothing I've been able to do on my system makes the CPU as hot as AIDA64, which I guess is convenient ;P I think cooling is the only thing holding me from 5GHz, but I too prefer to keep it below 80 if possible, and the wallet sure is tight nowadays.
  8. Ah, yeah my CPU Input voltage is 1.824v by default as well. Although these readings aren't taken with a multimeter, so take it with a grain of salt I guess
  9. I can't remember the terminology too well, VCCIN is the CPU Input Voltage (?) at 1.824v VRIN being Cache voltage? 1.148v Different motherboards using different terminology threw me off fairly quickly.
  10. Yeah FPU is what causes my chip to hit ~80. I'm perfectly happy with 4.9GHz though, especially after my previous experience with overclocking chips.
  11. L442B184 Surprised I managed to read that tbh, my CPU box arrived quite scuffed. Really glad I got a decent chip, my old Phenom II X6 1100T and i5-4670k absolutely hated any clock changes, regardless of voltage. Also, originally I thought this CPU was DOA because my Mobo was flagging the CPU as an issue. Turns out my BIOS update was retarded and that I needed to use a proprietary software from ASUS o_O It was going to be collected by a courier the next day, I nearly lost this baby >_<
  12. Yeah I thought as much, though it rarely actually hit 80. Yeah I tried messing in league and what not Coincidentally, I managed to get it stable on 4.7GHz with no voltage increase, I suspect I was just very lucky.
  13. Sounds good, that's with your rig in your sig right?
  14. Currently using a H320 with MX-2 paste, got three NF-F12's on the rad.
  15. Appreciate the replies guys, I would love to take it up to 5GHz but my temps top at 80 and I'd rather not go any higher I would totally custom loop it had I have the money as well. The temps only hit 80 when I run 1.3v though.
