Hi guys,
Yesterday I finished building a PC. It started up just fine and the install of windows was effortless. However, I ran in to a couple of issues. Before I tell you about them, it may be important that you take a look the the specs of the PC below:
Case: CoolerMaster Silencio 550
Mobo: ASRock Z97 Extreme4 Intel Z97 So.1150 Dual Channel DDR3 ATX Retail
Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H80i
PSU: 650 Watt Corsair RM Series Modular 80+ Gold
SSD: 500GB Samsung 840 Evo Series 2.5"
HDD: 2000GB WD Green WD20EZRX Intellipower 64MB
RAM: 16GB (2x 8192MB) G.Skill RipJawsX DDR3-2133 DIMM CL9-11-11-28 Dual Kit
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K 4x 4.00GHz So.1150
Issues:
#1: When powering up the PC, the fans starts spinning like a tornado, producing INCREDIBLY loud noises. I have another custom built PC in the house that I built previously and it is not even close to the noise this machine makes. After about five seconds they wound down again but I can still hear them spinning clearly. When I but a finger to the top of the case, I can feel the whole case vibrating. What may be causing this? PSU loose fit? Something with the cooler?
#2 When I attempt to plug USBs or w/e in to the back of the PC, while it is on, I get small shocks when accidentally touching the I/O shield. WTF?
Sidenote: I had to mount the watercooler pump upside-down for it to fit in the case. Doubt this has anything to do with it all?
ANY feedback appreciated.
