Greetings! I have a Lenovo Y510p laptop, and the Hard Drive is : ST1000LM014-1EJ164. I'm not sure if it's just really sh*t, or if it is windows or another program is causing the problem. I have set a custom Page file size, didn't seem to do anything. I have also disabled Superfetch and Windows Scearch processes, it didn't solve the problem either, it just made the 100% spikes intermittent. It happens randomly where the highest transfer rates are at 3.9 MB/s. This is slowing my computer down terribly. I'm thinking of buying a Western Digital Back² drive(A drive Linus reviewed a while back), if I can't solve this.

Hey, I have the exact same problem with crashing. Replaying the annnoying sound and then GTA V launcher has stoped working..... I'm still trying to find out whats wrong.

How much vram does your graphics card have? What fraction of it is being used(shows this at the top it says Video Memory: 1043 MB/ 2024 MB for example)

Hey! Try disabling all the "Advanced Settings" in the graphics options(you can find out which one was causing the problem later). I found these to be VERY demanding. Also try puting Msaa to 2x or even off to see if it dramatically improves performance. How much vram is being used? (It shows this at the top of the menu).
