    Okay, so I'm learning some Python. Since you seem to be a bit more fluent with it than I am, could you help me with some code that allows the user to select a file and then python displays the file as binary data?

    Could you suggest the language which can be coded to do this most easily? Or the one which is least computationaly intensive if this alogrithm were applied MANY times in quick succession?

    I need to write a (probably) simple program. I'm also a beginner, so any and all help would be appreciated :) It needs to be able to select a file. Then apply an algorithm to the binary data of the file. Then save the file. What is the best programming language for this and why?

    Don't worry, this is RAM related. So I'm substanially more knowledgable about computers than my dad, and he knows this. He's selling some RAM on eBay right now and he asked me what speed it was. As I go over to take a look, he says ' Oh wait, it says on the box. 10,600MHz'. I thought 'Okay, so either it says 1,600MHz... or the Enterprise is missing some RAM' The best nerd moment. I thought you should know :p

    So a while ago Linus (and/or multiple other tech channels) discussed the problem AMD had been having with runt frames (very small section of the frame rendered) or dropped frames (frames missed entirely) and this was causing the user-viewed FPS to be as low as 50% the expected FPS output from the graphics card. I'm hoping this was just a driver problem and that they've fixed it, as I plan for my next graphics card to be a 7950. Was it a driver problem? Is it fixed?

    HOLY CRAP OK, well that's me just absolutely convinced, thanks guys! I've checked out some more comparisons and yeah, the 7950 consistently gets higher FPS in just about every game. Just wow. But getting Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider AND Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon just amazes me. That's awesome, considering I have none of those games! 7950 it is! BTW, because AMD can't use GPU based PhysX and it has to outsource the processing from the CPU, will that fact that I have an i7 3770k @ 3.4 GHz help ?

    So which is better - GTX 660Ti or RADEON 7950? I can't find a perfect specs comparison, I mean obviously they use different hardware like CUDA cores/ Stream processors. But what's the difference other than speed, capacity and aesthetics (we're assuming Non-ECC and Non-Buffered too)? Why is Corsair Dominator Platinum so expensive?
