  1. I guess I'm going with RTX 2060, thank you all for your input!
  2. Hello, recently my Geforce GTX 760 card completely died, and I am now looking to replace it. My current relevant specs are: PSU - Corsair CX 750M Processor: Intel i5 4900k I want to spend <= $300 USD I only do minor gaming, mostly the recently released Halo MCC on Steam and some Minecraft, that's about it. I mostly use my PC to code rather than game, but I like having a smooth experience whenever I do play games. Something to note is that I want to use 2+ monitors for this build, so the card has to support both HDMI and DVI ports. With all this being said, which card should I go for in my price range and what I'm looking for? Preferably would like to stick to an NVIDIA card. Thank you.
  3. Is it possible for the card to be dead even if I see the fans on it spinning? It's also clearly detected by Windows, even on my sysinfo (windows button + R -> msinfo32)
  4. I've ran clean installations of updated drivers (Geforce software stating that it wipes old ones) but apart from that I haven't ran any. Only tried to uninstall the card itself from the device manager but after a reboot the same problem persists still. Any recommendations on alternative forms of DDU?
  5. I can't even open the nvidia control panel, it does not show up. Plus, I can only download it from the Microsoft store and it doesn't even open when I try to run it.
  6. intel i5 GTX 760 psu is corsair cx750 motherboard is msi z97s krait edition yes I tried changing the slot just now and I just wouldn’t get a signal on my monitor. It stayed on a black screen
  7. This is what my device manager looks like: https://prnt.sc/qy8lq7 It leads me to code 43, which when researching online all the solutions just say to update drivers, which I did. I also completely uninstalled them and reinstalled them. Windows still gives my card that error. I also decided to factory reset my PC (I wanted to do this for a while anyways) and the problem still persists (even after getting the latest drivers). I also cannot see the nvidia control panel even though I already installed both the Geforce Experience & NVIDIA Control Panel apps. For context as well, here is the way my screen looks now and I cannot change the resolution. https://prnt.sc/qy8mry My regular resolution before this was 1920x1080... Here is a screenshot of what it looks like when I try to change the resolution: https://prnt.sc/qy8n18 As you can see, it's grayed out. I contacted both Microsoft AND Nvidia live support (both call and live chat) and neither company was able to help me (what a surprise huh?) I really hope someone here is able to help me resolve my issue. Thank you.
  8. I'll try messing with the RAM, the issue occurs when playing games too and I know chrome takes up a lot of it so that would make sense. For a split second I saw a blue light from my motherboard but it only happened once out of the 10 times this screen has came up. I looked into it and all I found was an explanation about an unsupported power supply but that's hard to believe since I've had this build for years.
  9. No overclocking, and I'm not sure what XMP is so I'll go ahead and say no
  10. I’ll try to keep this short. Whenever I have 2+ chrome windows open my computer ends up getting a blue screen of death (idk if that’s what it’s called, see attachment 1). The difference between this one and others I’ve seen is that the percentage stays at 0. I let it sit for over an hour and it stayed at 0%. Once I restart the computer (restart button on pc) it tries to boot back up but it simply can’t (attachment 2). When this happens I fully turn it off (hold down power button which ends restart loop) and let the computer rest for a couple of hours. I’m not sure what could be going on here so I would really appreciate some help, thanks. (Obviously I’m writing this on my phone so sorry for the formatting) 0BCBF921-A04E-4C57-B244-80B94ABB8093.MOV
  11. Hey guys, I got a new motherboard (Z97S SLI Krait Edition) and my headset does not work when I try plugging it in. I already tried using the same headset on my laptop and on my phone, and it works perfectly. When I try to install my audio driver (sound blaster cinema 2) it tells me to reboot my PC, when I do, it keeps on popping up the same message about rebooting my PC before downloading sound blaster cinema 2. I restarted my PC 3 times in a row and it just keeps on popping up the same message. Here is a screenshot http://prntscr.com/8a612y Please help, thanks.
  12. I am very stuck guys, can someone please help?
